Hi, guys! And welcome back to normalcy! This is Kitty filling in today, which is actually sort of appropriate since aside from Kamala making a post-Valentine's breakfast for Eleanor, all of the notes are about the most debauched Three Minute Dates in history.

People showed up and signed up, with Yelena wondering why Adrian was signing up if it was a bad idea. Probably because if there's a week to make terrible decisions, it's when your top brain has stopped working. Everyone got their five rounds in, and then there was mingling after the dates.

There, Pam and Lana set up a threesome with Sabine, Liliana got me, Ignis and Jon commenting on her drink choice... Yesterday I would have said what it was. Today I've grown as a person. Stark asked Eric about his dates. Eric made out. Gray needed a nap, which was probably for the best since Eric was also buying Yelena drinks and got Flint's attention with his abs. I only judged his drink choices. Raiden followed up with Flint, Percy got a drink from me, Logan got to hear about the time this happened while an alternate universe version of him was visiting, and Yelena questioned Logan's shirtlessness. Belle appreciated it and Flint wondered how it kept happening. And Yelena, the squirrels misreported nothing.

So enjoy today, what with your clear heads and free time on your hands.

Been a while since I've been in here! This is Kitty Pryde-Barton, escorted here by some squirrels, I'm guessing to read this stack of notes right here. It's fine. It's not like Tuesdays are my late night at work or anything.

Anyway. At school, Cuisines of Earth went to Fogo de Chao, Flight and Flying tackled helicopters, Summertime Arts and Crafts made Zora armor, and Completely Unsafe Science with Beaker... melted or burned things. Was any of those things Beaker?

In the dorms, Belle was having iced tea in the third floor common room and sharing with Five when Belle suggenly turned into a sugar glider. Which, honestly, is one of the cuter things a person can turn into, but hopefully it's a short transformation.

In town, Liz was knitting at the Photo Hut and going to Amaya at the forge to work on her crib. I just got mine at a store. At Diaz and Ass- never not funny- Miguel found out about Rosa's plan to outfit roller blades with switchblades. Oh my god. My brain just jumped straight to Adam X.

Wanda was tired at the magic shop, and Buck was apparently pouting some at the fire station- aww- but he had Will to bring magically appearing hamburgers from the clinic, and Buck and Eddie are bored enough to already be talking about group Halloween costumes. Tell me that's okay to do because I will start. Marc met Nell for a boxing date at the gym and found Billy getting a workout in too.

Then Dwight stopped for coffee, Watts invited Steven over for what the squirrels labeled "sappiness," Annie and Diego tried out- ...oh god... Starlight-branded merchanise. I would sue. Lucifer was doing some dramatic piano-playing, and... Oh boy. Buckle up. The meat seltzer made it to Caritas. Tino was no help because that man is an agent of chaos. Gray came looking for a specialty drink that was not that, Rosa tried to buy me drinks for having to deal with it, Stark made good life choices and avoided it at all costs, and people of Fandom, Steve Rogers tried the meat seltzer. How're you doing today, Steve? Anything you'd go back in time and undo?

That's all the notes, so I'm going to try and erase the trauma of dealing with all of that. I feel like the smell is still in my skin and only one can was even opened.

Jaye: Morning, Fandom. This is Jaye, with a very special guest... *shuffles papers* Kitty Pryde-Barton?

Kitty: I'm your boss. You know my name.

Jaye: Sure I do. Anyway.

Kitty: This is my official islandwide apology to anyone who had any Chaos Drink at Caritas on Tuesday. The makers of that drink have been threatened, reported to the Better Business Bureau, and forced to listen to my daughter cry about Mommy's Pez head. I'm so sorry.

Jaye: I got a group hug with Tiny.

Kitty: Let's go back to where I had Pez head. You know, I think I had it worse. Why not just do some notes?

Morning. This is Kitty with break week's news!

Nothing at school except for office hours, where Anakin was wishing relatives for the Fourth to be with them? Jaina seemed to think there were better uses for his time. I mean, it's break week. There probably aren't.

In the dorms, Wayne was making a different breakfast than normal, ooooh, which Ulysses got to partake in, and Nina was moping in her room until Astrid came by to ask if she could borrow Foomy for a project.

And over in town, Rosa found the troopers trying to impress the new guy Danny on his first day, at Turtle and Canary Summer... the notes specifically say she's the Checklist Queen? Okay. Octavia was walking around trying to hide a purchase she made- might've wanted to bribe the squirrels- which she might've done at Dite's, but they still got you going in there. Sorry. Also at the store, Kathy was working on her class syllabus, and she told Alluka about her class and suggested a weekly dinner.

And that's all I've got. Enjoy break!

Morning, everyone. This is Kitty, here with a short stack of notes today, because that's what happens on break week.

There's no classes, but in the dorms, Wayne made a celerycentric breakfast, and he didn't know what was up with all the celery anyway even though Nina thought the third floor kitchen was his domain.

And in town, Summer was at Turtle and Canary... giving away celery. Iris was wondering if it was National Celery Day and now I am too, and at the trooper station, Ralph was asking Rosa to be on her vegetable task force.

Okay! Now I'm gonna leave and hope I don't need to have a special on Bloody Marys tonight.

Morning, everyone, and welcome to finals week radio!

At school, Criminal Justice had a final exam, Pacifism learned the Chinese art of... oh wow it's going to be insulting if I try to pronounce that. And Creative Thinking did some crafting. Creatively.

In the dorms, Wayne was making breakfast and had a sleepy Nina in. Apparently she was still tired from celebrating Anakin's birthday. Feel special, Anakin.

And in town, Summer decided to make Doritos Jello.... ew, Rosa was called on to decide the trooper's new vending machine, Nell was humming while she worked at the flower shop, and Tactics Pancake had their last class, and Nina and Duke talked about the possibility of a sequel. Oooh.

And that's my notes. Enjoy the week.

Morning, all. It's my least favorite day, which is the day after the kids, so let's just get into it.

At school, Criminal Justice played dress up, Pacifism talked about avoiding violence, and Creative Thinking asked why. I never want to hear that question again.

In the dorms, Wayne had breakfast just like normal, where he and Shuri decided to make Sissy be quiet by giving her food. Owen had a family picnic on the roof, where Aurora apologized to Anya for crashing, and Owen and Nina talked about the sweet spot between doing this for real and pretending it never happened. Aurora tried to get Solis to calm down, and he wanted to know what Anya was eating, and Owen tried to teach Solis about inside voices.

This is my near future and it's concerning.

In town, Beau was working with kids at the gym, and she got to figure out who William belonged to, and at home, Lucifer got a call from Trixie and texted with Octavia, and Larceny came over to talk about spelling. Summer also had a kid helper at the store, and Cait came in just to see Summer and got to find out he had a kid in Turk, and Summer got to ask Issabeth about spending the night at Seivarden's.

Duke and Jean played pirate at the playground, and he had to comfort Vanessa after she got upset at some things, and Octavia had to do the same with Jean, but at least Vanessa was very excited to meet Larceny. Dante brought Evie to the park, where she and Jean got into whose dad could take who, and Duke had to fill Larceny in on everything that happened while she was gone, like... the kids. And Magnus brought his daughter Richard, who argued with Jean before they decided to play.

Liam and Verity brought their kids to the onsen, where Ty, William and Hayley played around and had to get parented. Nell was homesick at the flower shop, and Tactics Pancake was canceled because the portal opened up for the kids to go home. Kathy and Dante said goodbye to Evie, Duke and Octavia saw Jean and Vanessa off, Verity and Liam said goodbye to their kids, Morgan said goodbye to Tony and Steve before being taken home by Doctor Strange? I have questions. And Anakin waited for Christopher and Juliet to come back from the portal after going back to visit him in high school.

.......

That was.... oh god, that's my future too.

That's all I've got. Be good to yourselves today.

Morning, everyone. This is Kitty, coming to you from the radio station, which is filled with stuffed animals. I don't know. There's a lot, people.

So at school, Criminal Justice talked about Destiny, Pacisfism had Rosa filling in with self-defense moves because pacifism is dumb, and Creative Thinking had a movie day. Holo day. Yes. And Tip was distracted at the library.

In the Dorms, Nina sold tickets to the pajama prom, which sounds incredible, and Wayne was in the common room making breakfast with dyed eggs and being concerned that Nina was leaking glitter. Well, she's selling tickets to a Fandom High dance, these things are to be expected.

In town, Beau was dealing with wrong number calls at the gym, Rosa ventured into the evidence room at the trooper station, Nell broke up a flower fight, and Nina and Duke tried to figure out how to cram the rest of Tactics Pancake's storyline into the time they have left. I mean, why not crowdsource class.

That's all my notes, so I'm out. Can I take a stuffed animal? Will anyone yell?

Morning, all. Here's Kitty with all your news from yesterday. I'll make it quick, I promise.

At school, Criminal Justice debated what happens if you're tricked into hunting the wrong thing in the wrong season, while Pacifism class talked about conscientious objectors, and in the guidance counselor's office, Karolina found her office full of bananas, which Beau of course had to ask about.

In the dorms, Wayne's breakfast was pretty heavy on the bananas, too, and Nina came in to wish him a good morning and I'm sure she had nothing to say about his party the night before. And in town, Octavia was watching the ducks in the park, Rosa found herself dealing with a mass of guinea pigs at the trooper station... which I'm gonna ask about, Nell had a plant-y pillow fort at the flower shop, and Beau found the machines at the gym encased in bubble wrap. Which sounds both irritating and a little amazing. Finally, Tactics Pancake got to a new port town for some information gathering. Oooh.

That's all my notes. And hey, if people are free Thursday, we're having game night at Caritas. Come one, come all, all ages, let's have some fun. See you then! Or next week from your radios.

Happy Tuesday, everyone. This is Kitty, coming to you from a pile of pillows in the radio station with yesterday's news.

At school, Criminal Justice got pop quiz discussion time, Pacifism taught about Akido and non-aggression, and Creative Thinking decided the floor was lava. Though this is Fandom, and I'm not entirely sure whether or not the lava was real.

In the dorms, Wayne was back to making breakfast, and in town, it was pretty quiet. Nell was working without gloves at the flower shop, Seivarden was making friends over tea at the Perk again until Lucifer came by to chat about the weekend and their social media. Rosa discovered that the trooper station has guinea pigs now, Beau was trying to work off extra energy at the gym, and Summer walked into Turtle and Canary and found a bunch of puppies and kittens adorably duking it out for supremacy. Now I'm sorry I didn't need to go shopping.

That's my notes. I might stay here for a while, this is comfy.

Morning, Fandom, and welcome back. This is Kitty, and I'm very tired.

At school, Criminal Justice talked about, uh, police reform, I guess? The Art of Pacifism talked about what they did on their spring vacation, and Creative Thinking was teacherless for a movie day.

In the dorms, Wayne was back to making breakfast in the third floor common room, where Nina started trouble by talking about what would happen if food looked like one thing but tasted like another, Sabine argued against Daylight Saving Time to him, and Nina agreed to make Sabine her demolitions expert if she ever went evil. That is a leap.

And finally, in town, Beau was back at work, where Rey asked about her trip, Summer wasn't feeling work today, and Nell was reunited with the flowers at the shop. Duke and Octavia got back from their trip, still flirting, Lucifer came to find out about the trip from Duke, while Octavia talked to him about the food, and Bellamy came to check up on her. Liam brooded on the beach, and Tactics Pancake saved one of the teams who had been left to suffer over spring break. Oops.

That's all I've got. Now I am going to try to get through my day while hoping to be awake for a job where I work at night.

Hi! I don't even know if anyone's still in Fandom to hear this, but if you are, hello from the Phillippines! Have I mentioned that I love working for a school that doesn't get blown up all the time and takes me on vacation?

There wasn't any news from town, which I choose to believe is because all the squirrels came here. So this morning on Boracay Island, Wayne still needed a Monday breakfast, where Shuri told him about her paper umbrella catapult idea. Shuri, as a purveyor of paper umbrellas, I'm interested. Amaya took time for a massage at the spa, and at the main pool, Summer told Seivarden about snoring keeping her up all night. It is vacation- take it as an excuse to stay out extra late? I've got nothing. Shunsui napped in the jacuzzi on the roof, Liam did some reading at the beachfront, and Lexi is a weird kid with a sand thing, and also Anakin and I got to talk parenting stuff. Sidon, Tisarwat and Rosa went on the parasailing scuba trip, Rosa, I better see you today to hear about this, and Prompto, Mae and Steve climbed Mount Luho. Astrid took things easier by getting breakfast and doing some sketching.

In the evening, Lucifer took Seivarden out for dinner and to complain about me on vacation, and Astrid, Shunsui, Tisarwat and Wayne hit up the beach where there was a dance party after dark, Amaya went to Gerry's Grill for dinner on a stick-

*suspicious chittering*

Prompto and Sidon went on the sunset cruise, Rosa headed to Exit Bar, and Summer predicted my earlier advice and went clubbing at Area 51 Secret Party Facility. Which I guess isn't so secret.

That's all my notes. Have a wonderful day, wear sunscreen. Seriously. Wear sunscreen.

Good morning, Fandom! It's Kitty with all of yesterday's news. At least, all the news the squirrels gave me.

At school, Criminal Justice talked about serial murder, technically, I think, Pacifism talked about anarcho-pacifism, and Creative Thinking adventured through a pyramid. I'm assured this was a good idea on no one's parts.

At the dorms, Wayne made breakfast, though Sabine knocked off his routine and then kept going, Nina was back after a few weeks, noticing that Wayne had changed up the food and talking about believing what you read on the internet OH HONEY NO, whereas she and Sabine caught up and talked mayhem.

Finally, over in town, Rey had a cooking mishap, while the gym saw Beau yelling at the radio a lot until Liam offered to help. Rosa had bandaged-up hands at the trooper station which should make the bar really interesting, Octavia did some window shopping which got her talking fashion with Lucifer, Tactics Pancake continued their journey by splitting into teams, and my favorite note, Summer was having a normal day at work until the panda started throwing heavy cheeses.

On that note, Caritas is having a whisky tasting tonight, come on in and try stuff from all over the multiverse! No one will throw heavy anything at you.
throughaphase: (outside)
[personal profile] throughaphase
Really? Here? I'm on a long weekend here. Ugh.

Hi, everyone. This is Kitty. Stalked by squirrels. This is weird.

At school, Criminal Justice got a take home test, so if you're in my class, check your email. Pacifism went over the play they read last week, even though no one in that class probably remembers what they read, and Creative Thinking got a painting Wookiee for class. ...I don't know what that is but I'm going to trust that this was, in fact, creative.

In the dorms, Wayne made breakfast and found that cracking eggs released little birds, and that would honestly put me off eggs for life. Meanwhile Astrid ditched class to hang out at the pool. Still gotta take your insane test, though.

In town, Duke and Octavia were happy to wake up without pollen in their brains, while Larceny went for a swim. Rosa was sleeping but still armed at the trooper station in case anyone got any ideas, Summer and Apu had to start switching out Valentine's Day stuff at Turtle and Canary to make way for St. Patrick's Day, and Beau was doing some cool speed stuff at the gym, which led to her kind of showing off at Liam and telling him what she can do.

And that's all I've got today. Shoo, squirrels. I have a few hours left of vacation and I'm using it.
throughaphase: (going over there now)
[personal profile] throughaphase
Well. It's that time of year again. I'm guessing you all figured out what's up, but this is the week everyone is insane. It'll pass, we'll all get through it, and Sex Ed should be interesting this week. Let's get right to it.

At school, in Criminal Justice we picked costumes, Pacifism talked about ending war by withholding sex, and based on going through something like eight of these weeks here, I don't think that'd actually work. Creative Thinking played a game where they tried not to let an archaeologist die, so hopefully those students get their focus together.

In the dorms, Wayne made breakfast with accidentally phallic pancakes, which Sabine could at least laugh about, and Tisarwat came offering tea for Wayne and Sabine. No word on there was any other dirty-shaped food.

In town, where I feel more slightly more comfortable reporting on debauchery, Beau was working out some frustrations at the gym- not dirty- and Breq came in to do the same. Lucifer went for a walk in the park, where he found Rey also, uh, working out frustrations, and complimented her form. Yeah, I can't make that sound better. He also may have worked out a booty call with Seivarden via text, my god, squirrels, that's invasive. Rosa figured out what was up midway through work, Octavia went to work it out in the preserve- again, not like that- Summer got blocked from getting a dimensional database for reasons, Nell was busy with Valentine's Orders at the flower shop, and Duke learned that even the porgs are not immune.

....I didn't... I didn't ask to picture that.

And finally, Tactics Pancake tried to esape a ship filling up with water. Look. Maybe if it's cold enough...

I'm gonna go. Good luck, Fandom. Remember there's free condoms at the clinic.

Morning, everyone. Kitty Pryde-Barton here with Monday's news. So get a caffeinated beverage, sit back, and let me tell you everything your friends and enemies did yesterday.

If people here have enemies, I'm honestly not sure.

At school, Criminal Justice tried to sort out the laws regarding a feuding roadrunner and coyote, and Pacifism tried to come up with non-violent hobbies. If Mae and Astrid take up falconing or creating new music styles, that'd be why.

In the dorms, Wayne made breakfast, minus Super Bowl leftovers.

*chittering*

Sorry. Puppy Bowl. I hereby issue a retraction.

In town, Beau was maybe taling to herself at the gym, Rosa came back from a trip to a fairly normal day at the trooper station, and at Turtle and Canary the... Squishy machine saw its shadow? So be prepared there. It's not good, folks. Duke visited Octavia to tell her about his trip, and Tactics Pancake ventured onward, which included a shipwreck and a pirate ghost queen, and Owen came by with cupcakes. So far I don't know if Nina saddled him into this class too but god, I hope so.

And that's my time. Next week!
throughaphase: (can i help you?)
[personal profile] throughaphase
Morning, everybody! This is Kitty, here early because I have a fourteen-month-old who's decided she doesn't like her sleep schedule anymore! This is great. Say hi, Lexi.

*silence*

Okay, guess not. So at school, Criminal Justice got a totally nonsensical discussion question, the Art of Pacifism talked about the idea of peace, which is tons more normal than what I did, and Creative Thinking was boring. And over in the library, Tip was dealing with some college-related issues.

In the dorms, Wayne was making breakfast even though the cabinets were foam. Foam? Like, cushion foam or bubbles?

*chittering*

Not bubbles. Okay, that's much better. Wayne had Nina eat even though she wasn't feeling well, and she wasn't able to foist her food off on Sabine. Meanwhile Wayne tried to tell Sabine it was pointless to question why cabinets might be foam, which didn't work.

Honey I can't put you down, you will chase squirrels. We don't chase squirrels, remember?

In town, Beau was marking some broken gym equipment when Rey came in to check in with her, at the trooper station Rosa found more foam... Huh. Nell was enjoying the birds at the flower shop, Summer was hard at work at Turtle and Canary and that is it, and new girl Yasha was checking out the town and found Mae, who wanted to play with her giant sword. And finally, Nina was sick for her class, so they got to hang in a fake tavern and basically work out backstory.

That's it for me. I'm going to get out of here before anyone cries because I won't let her befriend drunken rodents.

Morning, everybody! This is Kitty, as usual, here to read another week of normal notes. Go, us! We're having a streak here!

At school, in Criminal Justice we debated the punishment for juggling kittens- it didn't make more sense in the class, either- The Art of Pacifism learned about Jainism and intention, and Creative Thinking came up with riddles to stump each other.

It was Wayne's breakfast day in the dorms, where he asked Nina about her class and she told them she was sending them all on a quest. Okay. Shuri was headed straight for the coffee, which she told Wayne she needed to get through two classes. And in town, Summer was totally listening to Apu's complaints at Turtle and Canary, Rey was doing some early people watching at the Perk, and Rosa found one of the troopers spoiling himself by eating a stick of butter... ew... and Lucifer came by to see if they ever needed any help over there. Well, there is a guy eating straight butter.

And Nina managed to get a bunch of new people in her Tactics Pancake class. (How? Help.) They had to introduce themselves in character and then went hunting for clues to find the missing prince. At the end of class, Prompto said he was making sure she got home and to sleep. Aww, that's sweet.

That's everything. Or at least everything the squirrels gave me, I'm sure others of you did things. We'll see what gets mentioned next week!
throughaphase: (excited)
[personal profile] throughaphase
Morning, Fandomites! This is Kitty with much better news this week. Let's get to it, shall we?

School actually happened this week, with me asking Criminal Justice why crime is bad. It's not my syllabus, folks. The Art of Pacifism did introductions, and Creative Thinking did creative introdutions.

In the dorms, breakfast happened, with Nina being gleeful at Wayne about getting to teah her first class, and Tisarwat offered Wayne tea while Nina wanted to know what kind it was.

In town, Seivarden's cat was stuck in a tree, so she and Lucifer flirted over tea while they waited for it to come down. That is... a sentence I said aloud. Rosa was suspicious of the animals at the trooper station, Summer had some words for people trying to re-grind coffee at Turtle and Canary, and Nell was working on teas and lotions at the flower shop. Then of course there was Nina's community center class, Tactics Pancake... what? And she explained the conflict that Pancakeia and Crepelandia were involved in and did introductions... Wait, this is a D&D thing? And I didn't sign up? I'm great at D&D*, just ask Tony!**

*chittering*

I am, too.

*She was not.
**Please don't, she almost died that day.
throughaphase: (gonna have to go with this)
[personal profile] throughaphase
Morning, Fandom. Things are weird and stuff happened so I'm just going to jump right in here.

At school, I canceled Criminal Justice and Aphra just didn't show up to Creative Thinking, and Tactics Pancake? was canceled in town, but mostly Tip was manning the library for research. She and Nina wondered why this was happening now, and warned that there might be more coming. Elisabeth had the misfortune of transforming from a book louse in the library, but luckily Nina was there to help her out, Tip filled Shunsui in on what they were looking for, and you know he's serious because he told Nina the sake had to wait. Tip told Prompto this is like a Trojan horse thing with presents and he wanted to make sure this didn't have anything to do with chocobos, and he checked in with Nina. And Nina found a clue that she told Tip might mean having to make the place extra-Christmassy.

Wayne still had breakfast in the dorms today, but in town, Rosa was investigating the disappearances, Nell tried to go about work as normal, and Octavia was wandering around town. She asked Liam if he had any news, but ended up more worried about him, she and Rey talked about being worried about Duke and making sure Larceny was all set, and Steve checked in with Octavia if she'd heard anything. She hadn't. But then Rey found bones in the preserve, so that's a horrible note to end on.

So, stay alert, you know what to do in these situations. Hopefully we'll have something today.

Morning, and happy last day of 2019! This year was a weird one, let's be done.

Classes are still out, so there was nothing happening at school except for the books throwing an end of year parade in the library for Tip. Hey, squirrels, you could-

*emphatic chittering*

Gonna take that as a no. In the dorms, Wayne was back to making breakfast, which was slightly odd-looking thanks to some alien ingredients he told Sabine were from Lana but I'm assured it was all edible.

In town, Beau was distracted at the gym, and told Rey about how hard it is to get home. Later on Rey gave herself homework to work on at the Perk, where Duke asked about her project and she got to show off a power. Karolina appreciated the books and it turns out Rey knew of her from the latter's time as a student, and Duke wondered why Karolina would come back after time away. Because this places grows on you in weird ways. Octavia was listening to music and playing the drums, and at the trooper station, the troopers celebrated the new year early while Rosa- and the notes insist this- cuddled a cat.

Let that be the energy you take with you into 2020.

Also, all-ages party at Caritas tonight, so if you're looking for plans, you have no excuse. Happy new year, everyone.

Good morning! This is Kitty with your Monday news on this Christmas-Eve-slash-third-day-of-Hanukkah morning. The short of it is, nothing blew up, though there are some tiny elves around but they seem helpful?

No classes this week, but in the dorms, Nina made breakfast while dealing with bitey fruitcakes, which had Sabine trying to help after Nina trapped one with her foot, and Tisarwat just hoped they didn't expect kissing. No... No, wanting to be eaten is actually kind of worse. Your mileage, of course, may vary.

In town, Beau was fending off fruitcakes while researching Christmas at the gym, and Rosa was at the trooper station where they were arresting fruitcakes. Welcome back, Rosa! Seivarden was warning fruitcake away at the Perk, where she and Duke talked about Christmas and pesky laws, and Seivarden texted with Amaya before going to welcome her back at the forge, where Amaya was mostly worried about the Crumbler. And finally, Magnus brought Octavia a tree so she could properly celebrate Candlenights.

I don't know what that is, but since that's my last note, that's a good way to end on happy holidays! See you next week.
throughaphase: (hmph)
[personal profile] throughaphase
OKAY. FANDOM. WHY. I had to deal with wine on my bar night and now I have to deal with egg nog on my bar night? This isn't helpful!

Whatever.

Over at school, Law Enforcement practiced some stuff with alibis, where Reality class finished up with a little Real World/Road Rules challenge, but as far as I know, not the Challenge. I think? Look, I only saw like half of one season back in the day, it's a wonder I know that much. And in the library, Tip was enjoying some gremlin caroling. It really is adorable, and I'm not just saying that because I don't want to end up singing something embarrassing in the park.

In the dorms, Okuyasu took up breakfast this week, where he bonded with Prompto over canned coffee. And later that night, Nina started a decorating party in the second floor common room. Nina greeted Shuri back in Xhosa, which got them talking about languages, and Tisarwat got back from a stay in Locker 327 today, so Nina got her tea and filled her in on the goings on here. Prompto was showing off his Santa hat that Grog saved for him, which had him and Nina talking about other things that had happened, Nina gave Okuyasu a basic rundown on what you do for these holidays, Nina told Sabine what different kids of glitter symbolizes, and she started Nell on the path to gel pen obsession. And of course, because she's living her best life, Shuri taught the gremlins carols with Nigerian drums.

In town, Beau was dealing with repeated gremlin carolers, which Rey thought was cute, whereas Seivarden was more the inciting violence type. That... would not work out well. Octavia went out to throw knives in the preserve, Nell refused to let the gremlins into the flower shop, and Movie class had a horror film today with gremlins watching them. I'm sure that added a certain element.

That's all the notes I have. Guess I'll... I dunno, run a special on egg nog or whatever like you all aren't drinking it anyway.

Morning, Fandom. This is Kitty again, with Monday's news, and also Tuesday's warning that it's one of those days and I'm not sure what the bar is going to be like tonight after all the wine that's flowing today.

If that was yesterday, I could maybe blame that on why school is so dead. Law Enforcement didn't have a teacher but they did have Santa hats to find, and Tip spent her library shift trying to figure out the deal with the hats. If you found an answer, I'd actually like to know it.

In the dorms, Nina was holding breakfast this morning, beating Okuyasu to it. They also caught up on classes and Bus Dean. Sabine and Nina had some hat complaints, which somehow led to Sabine teaching her about walruses? And Sabine showed Okuyasu what happens when you take the hat off, which meant he wanted to sell the extras. I mean, tis the season.

But I have about forty of them because you know how babies do things like kick off socks? Imagine what happens when she's wearing a hat she doesn't want to.

You get like forty Santa hats.

In town, the hats made for a cranky Beau at the gym, who watched Liam beat up on the punching bag for a while. Nell was fighting against the Santa hats at the flower shop, and Steve hung out in the park with his adorable dog and his fantastic sweater. And me and Lexi. But mostly his sweater. And finally, Miguel showed movie class a holiday movie that... turned out to be about a murderous gingerbead man.

I don't... I don't have anything to say about that.

But that's all my notes, so I'm out of here. Cheers.

Morning, all. This is Kitty, here with Lexi, because Clint turned into a hawk and unfortunately hawks have a pretty tough time watching their human daughters. I'm also going to be really grateful that there aren't many notes so I can get through them before she starts pulling squirrel tails.

Nothing at school, in the dorms Sabine was watching the Yule Log while making dinner in the common room, and then everything else was in town-

No, no, away from the squirrels.

Anyway. In town, Octavia was spending some quality time with her drum kit, Miguel was apparently very much in need of *suddenly muffled* coffee to get through his Luke's shift-

*sounds of tapping on a microphone*

Please leave the microphone alone, yes, thank you. And finally, Janet was dealing with an excess of egg nog at Turtle and Canary, so I guess take advantage of that sale for all your nog purposes.

That's all the notes, so I'm going to- Please stop trying to push butto-

Good morning, Fandom! This is Kitty, here with my very favorite day of winter in Fandom. Not the caffeine I usually go for, but I'll take it.

Over at school, Law Enforcement had the class sorting stuff without dying of boredom, Reality class got to play the Price is Right with a stolen... car stereo... not sure I should have said that out loud on a radio cops listen to. And Tip was the smartest of all of us, trying to build a door to see if it got her chocolate.

In the dorms, it was time for Wayne's breakfast, where he was making pancakes with chocolate, because there was a surplus. He said hi to Sabine, Nina said hi to Tisarwat, and Nina was gleeful at Wayne about the chocolate, while she and Sabine debated whether you can die from too much sugar.

Yes! You can! Don't test that!

In town, Rosa banned chocolate-eating at the trooper station because her dog can't have it, a person-sized chocolate Santa caused a whole thing for Amaya at the forge, and Beau was ignoring customer complaints at the gym to focus on chocolate throwing stars and getting a present from Liam, which probably helped how he left for a little bit. And finally, movie class watched a horror movie about shopping, and Amaya and Seivarden complained about December in Fandom.

I mean, that's fine, I'm going to take my baby to go find a friendly polar bear. Hopefully that won't backfire on me at any point in the future!

Good morning and happy Thanksgiving week! This is Kitty with all your news of the day before it gets real quiet towards the end of the week.

Over at the school, Law Enforcement talked about whether they had- and I quote- "crimed," while Reality class took advantage of the holiday to have a movie day. Meanwhile at the library, Tip was sitting back with the Native American history books, watching the American history books put on a Thanksgiving pageant. That was probably not a good look for those particular books!

...Is a thing I just said.

In the dorms, Nina stole the traditional breakfast from Wayne because he was late, and talking about the tradition and togetherness and all made Nina homesick. Shuri noticed that Nina is not Wayne, though Nina could maybe try some flannel for the occasion, and Nina and Tisarwat talked about maybe changing up the menu. and Wayne got to tell Shuri why we don't have classes at the end of the week, and how her American friends needed presents.

In town, Duke had to explain things like names to his new roommate, Rosa got her dog and the trooper station cat to play nice- Rosa! Congratulations! At the gym, Beau had to deal with people coming in to work off dinners they havent't eaten yet- checks out- Nell was listening to flowers at the flower shop, and I'm not sure if that was literal or figurative. Or if it was literal, in what sense? Finally Movie class tried for a disaster movie, which did not turn out as planned.

*chittering*

Yes, you could say it was a disaster but that's too obvious a joke. Anyway, Amaya and Seivarden talked about watching movies from Seivarden's home, which sounds like an excellent plan over a long weekend.

That's all the notes I have, enjoy the holiday, don't kill anyone on Black Friday!

Morning, everyone. Hopefully today's a little less weird. Of course, I say that right before reporting on all the potential weirdness from yesterday sooooo... sorry?

At school, Reality class danced with the Stars, except without the stars, or the music they planned on, while Law Enforcement was owed an interrogation, so they got an interrogation.

Siometimes sentences are just fun to say.

In the dorms, Wayne was making breakfast as usual, though he stopped when he took Nina being more subdued to try and find out what was wrong. That... actually sounds like a good reason to stop. Tisarwat was in actual pain, but she told Wayne and Nina that she wanted to focus on tea before dealing with that. Honestly, I can't judge, some mornings I feel the same about coffee. Meanwhile, Sabine was cleaning up her room after the weekend's tiny artfest, and Lana came by to tease her about being small and rat out the teachers for what they did over the weekend.

In town, Rosa figured out how to train her dog- ooh- Nell was working on a thing for the flower shop's new owner, and Beau didn't want to hear about her coworker's weekend at the gym, though she was fine with Liam bringing her thank you coffee because of it.

Duke was apparently regretting some things at the Perk, where Liam tried to check in on Octavia but didn't get very far, though he and Duke talked about the weekend and how sometimes you have to stab people who look human, please tell me that did not come up this weekend. Hannibal came by to check on Duke, who also made plans with Octavia to get some food on his boat after she got some throwing practice in at the preserve. And finally, Miguel led movie class, where Seivarden didn't seem to want Amaya asking about the weekend.

That's all the notes I've got. This week will be more normal, at least for a couple days, at this rate.

[personal profile] throughaphase
Morning, Fandom! This is Kitty, with all of Monday's incredibly normal news. No blood coffee or killer clowns, and I enjoy that. Let's keep it that way for a while.

So! Let's start with school, where Law Enforcement got a guest recording to teach them how to Mirandize someone, Reality class tried their hands at Project Runway, and Tip had to talk the books out of starting a bonfire at the library oh god.

In the dorms, Wayne was making a normal breakfast, where he and Sabine talked about further adventuring in the dorms, Eleanor brought her own donuts but Wayne offered her breakfast anyway, and she told Sabine she was thinking of skipping class. So if you expected Eleanor in your class today... Tisarwat had to offer Eleanor a fork to eat her donut, which makes me wonder how badly that donut was doing, Wayne and Okuyasu talked about having a bonfire, Tisarwat noticed the new pin additions to Okuyasu's outfit, and Wayne and Tisarwat talked about how glad they were for things to be normal aaaaaaand we're all jinxing it now.

Finally, it was pretty quiet in town, where Rosa brought her dog to work, not knowing the trooper station has a cat now, Beau found an alot of green beans outside the gym, and movie class had a late take on Halloween, with Seivarden literally W-T-Fing at Amaya about the movie choice. But apparently at least there wasn't singing.

That's all I've got. Enjoy the easy week before it's not easy anymore.

[personal profile] throughaphase
Uh, morning everybody. This is Kitty, and I could do without today's weird thing! Why can't we have porgs in costume again! This is a serious question I'm asking, who do I talk to about that?

In hopefully less horrifying news, notes! At school, Terrain class had Lana filling in today and showing them a planet called Korriban, which Sabine asked her about. Law Enforcement had... gym class, and Reality class took advantage of the dark to play Fear Factor. Nope, couldn't pay me enough. And in the library, Tip was dealing with the scuttling in the dark, and Ulysses and Mae went skulking around the hallways, despite all the gremlins that may have been out there in the dark witht them.

In the dorms, Wayne still managed to make breakfast, and I admire this. He told Sabine how to cook even when the stove is out, while he and Nina debated whether it was rude to say a hairless cat is naked. Meanwhile Sabine pointed out the elephant in the room, which is that Nina had a halo, so Nina gave her one of her own, and she and Tisarwat talked about people being accommodating about the latter's culture. Tisarwat asked Wayne for a plate, as did Okuyasu, and Nina explained to Okuyasu how her halo works.

Over in town, Rosa got to deal with all the phone calls about yesterday at the trooper station, while Beau worked with her staff- literally- in the dark at the gym and Nell did her best at the flower shop, and Miguel filled in for movie class, and Seivarden and Amaya might not've appreciated his movie choice due to the talk of blowing up the TV. As you do.

All right, I'm going to leave, and avoid my reflection. This week is weird.
throughaphase: (ugh)
[personal profile] throughaphase
Morning, all. Kitty here after what might be the worst night's sleep of my life, so if I manage to get through all this coherently, I deserve coffee.

As long as it's not blood coffee. This week is...

Anyway. We're back at school, where Reality class did their take on The Voice, while Lucifer was basically still on vacation and had Law Enforcement research something or other while he lounged, and Tip had an incident with the blood coffee in the library. ...Oh no.

Also having blood coffee problems was Wayne, making breakfast this week in the dorms. Vette suggested putting it on pancakes, Wayne did not agree. Nina suggested soda instead, and let me tell you that soda is not the same thing, coffee saves lives. Okuyasu told Wayne maybe the pipes were bleeding, though I don't think we're that weird, and he and Nina talked about the spell of creepy stuff we've had lately, and Tisarwat was plenty popular with Wayne, Nina and Okuyasu, since her tea didn't have a blood curse. Shuri was glad that at least it wasn't just her room, and she and Nina talked about taking field trips to Starbucks. Look. Do what you have to do.

In town, Beau was in a very good mood at the gym, Rosa was stuck with tea at the trooper station and got a visit from Miguel, who ventured to the mainland for coffee. Liam came home to space out for a bit, and Rey and Kanan got some training in, which is a mean thing to do to those of us who are sleep-deprived and so far coffee-less and don't know what day it is now. Finally, Movie class had a movie about a ship, and for some reason by now I'm actually a little disappointed it wasn't a haunted ship.

All right, I'm going straight to the Perk to see if their drinks are normal yet, and if not, you can find me sobbing at the Perk in about five minutes.

Morning, everyone! This is Kitty, broadcasting from Ecuador, because we all deserved a vacation.

Uh. Sorry, people stuck in town.

The notes are pretty slim today, though! Back in town, Sparkle opened Demon Marcus and got a surprise visit from Minako. Apparently last week's weirdness hit other places besides Fandom, so that's terrifying. Otherwise Caduceus was drinking tea in the graveyard and things were otherwise quiet.

And on the trip, we spent the day in Quito, where Wayne of course headed down for breakfast, where Nina got in on his call with his sister and found out he was going on a date with Shuri, who gave him a turkey hat to celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving. If he wore it, that probably means they're meant for each other. Eleanor was also at breakfast, keeping up with the Kardashians and I'm not proud of that but that was literally what she was doing, and Tisarwat found some things she could eat. Beau and Kennedy were definitely not competing at the gym, Sabine, Sidon and Mae all checked out the churches in the area, and Keyleth was taking pictures around Middle of the World City, and Prompto told Nina how much she's not allowed to run off ever again.

And in the evening, Shuri presented Janet with her Canadian Thanksgiving hat, and Juillenne's big cat was swimming around in the pool, so Lexi and I waited it out while Juillenne and Keyleth talked about the upcoming cruise. Meanwhile Amaya headed off to enjoy some... guinea pig on a stick-

Morning, everybody. This is Kitty, and for the uninitiated... welcome to a weird weekend in Fandom, which this time happens to take place in the middle of the week. Sorry. Know it ends.

Over at school, Law Enforcement had half the class try and get confessions out of the other half of the class, Reality class did some Trading of Spaces, and Terrain dealt with the tropics, where Prompto and Vette took pictures and wondered what Nina's been off doing.

In the dorms, Wayne still held breakfast on the third floor despite his current circumstances, and Vette was trying very hard to be helpful in exchange for all he does here.

*chittering*

No, I didn't mean that dirty. Hush. Vette and Tisarwat talked about the latter's guest the other weekend, and Tisarwat asked if Wayne changed his hair, while Wayne and Sabine discussed the Jello rain. Shuri was confused at Wayne, and also scientific, and Okuyasu was too direct about it and had to talk about bird calls instead.

Meanwhile Trevor was trying to hide out on the second floor while people were busy, but Sabine found him and failed at making him feel better.

Town was mostly people waking up and figuring everything out! Weird that the squirrels were watching that en masse! Among them were Liam and Verity, Sparkle and Hernando, Seivarden, Steve and Tony, Duke on his boat, who got clothing from Hannibal and uh, he cut Magnus' hair. Okay. We all cope in our own ways.

Jack went to visit Kaidan at the CIC, where Kanan and Duke, Rosa couldn't figure out why the uniformed troopers were acting weird, and also got a visit from Miguel, who she offered clothes to. Octavia was having a normal morning at the Perk, making plans with Rey to show each other their sword and staff, which I am assured is not dirty, and then Magnus came in with some new changes, but still wants to spar like this. Jack tried to spoil the surprise was too late, Duke ended up making plans with Octavia to get his hair braided and had Jack thinking he was someone else. Octavia also joined Shunsui at the onsen, and he was the least bothered person ever by today, apparently.

Amaya had a normal, busy day at the forge, while Beau had a stowaway porg at the gym, and Sparkle had Demon Marcus open for people who needed clothes. Simon came into work but turned into a badger, which Hernando noted is not a cat, Duke came in for clothes and also to mock Kanan for his clothing choices, Hernando was weirded out by recognizing Kanan and Duke's faces, and Hannibal texted Sparkle. And finally, Movie class had a film about a woman being badass, because that probably felt needed.

That's all my notes. I promise, it's temporary.

Morning, everybody, and welcome back to your selves. In case you thought we were over the weekend, I get the task of reading all the morning after conversations, so buckle up, we're not done yet.

At school, Keeping Your Terrain did some rock climbing, Reality class had a America's Next Top Model/Drag Race mashup class, and Law Enforcement moved onto the next step of their investigation. In the library, Tip was warding off paper cuts thanks to flying books, which is a very specific problem to have, and Karolina had the guidance office open, with Liam bringing candy.

In the dorms it was breakfast day, with Nina taking the helm this time. Wayne tried to figure out who she was trying to impress, and told Sabine he was pretty sure that person was him, Tisarwat got some breakfast since Nina was wearing gloves, and they talked about healing, and Nina mostly got to tease Sabine for her weekend. Someone else cooking threw Delirium off so Wayne assured her she didn't miss Monday, and Nina got to introduce herself. Nina unfortunately couldn't serve Shuri coffee in a trough, but they also talked about non-Summer Jello, and Shuri and Wayne made a date. Aww.

In town, Rosa was not having a good morning, which involved having to tell Miguel about her weekend, Amaya was back at work at the forge, and Seivarden had to stop in to see about getting a door fixed. Nell was at work, Jaina was at the Perk, where Anakin teased her about the weekend before finding out what's been going on at home, which sounds less teasable. Rey and Duke had some uncomfortable wakeups on his boat followed by teasing about the weekend, and the squirrels would like it noted that Peter was wearing a shirt again at movie class.

*disappointed chittering*

That's all the notes. And in conclusion, I really, really don't want to be normal.
throughaphase: (little bit alarmed)
[personal profile] throughaphase
Morning, everyone. How's that summit coming, Steve? Is it going well? I hope it's going really well, because all the note-taking gremlins turned them all in at the same time so they're all here, and Leroy's over here mocking me.

Just going to reiterate: I am not going to be solid for any of this.

So. Over at school, Terrain class went straight for the Arctic, because why start out easy. Reality class played Survivor, with Illyana asking to be voted off, and I can't blame her one bit. Law Enforcement investigated a murder scene once Lucifer explained the simulation to Delirium, and at the library, Tip was sharing fun facts about elephants.

In the dorms it was breakfast day, where Wayne and Tisarwat and Wayne and Lana said hi, Tisarwat met Eleanor, who wanted to know if her world had talking cats and the lottery, and Wayne was surprised to see Eleanor, who doesn't participate in group things, but who did bring her own food. Nina wanted to know whether Wayne's sprinkle pancakes meant that he likes anyone, and Eleanor wasn't down with Nina's volume or her own inability to curse. I mean, granted, it feels like all I see on TV anymore is for babies and it's warped my brain some, but I can still see how that'd be frustrating. Tisarwat and Nina talked about not toning down your happiness to make others comfortable, Delirium was happy to see special pancakes, so at least someone appreciated them.

And then Prompto discovered that Nina makes relationship charts.

....

......

In town, Rosa spent time at the trooper station listening to a raccoon, and also Miguel brought food, which as far as I know the raccoon had no part of. Beau was working out at work, and movie class had a classic shark tale to get through. Shunsui tried hitting on Amaya, and not Peter, though he did say hi, and Peter made sure the movie didn't bring up anything traumatic for Amaya.

All right, that's all my notes, I'm getting out of here, Steve, seriously.
throughaphase: (surprise)
[personal profile] throughaphase
Okay, okay- ow! Don't throw nuts at me! It's not technically crossing a picket line if I phased in the back way, okay? I'm assuming there are still notes to read, right?

*shuffling of papers*

Oh. Uh. Thanks. So, um, I'm Kitty Pryde-Barton, one of your teachers here and regular radio person today, and I just got handed notes by a gremlin. Because apparently gremlins are subbing in for the squirrels. Okay. Well. Let's get this over with, shall we?

We're starting our first week of classes, so over at school, The Everchanging Facets of Reality introduced themselves with limo exits and then had a... rose ceremony. ...Deadpool and Vanessa, no. I have to recap this every week? I already watch it! Introduction to Law Enforcement had Lucifer asking the kids about punishing wicked people for introductions.

*long pause*

*heavy sigh*

Meanwhile in the library, Tip was dealing with the books also striking. I get the feeling it's going to be a long semester.

We actually have quite a few dorms notes today. Wayne was back to make breakfast on the third floor this morning, where Vette greeted him properly, and they talked about duck/geese combos called duckoose...s. I think that'd be duckeese? Kids. It's too early for this. Vette was happy to see Lana brought creamer from home and also got a hug from Nina before hearing about a possible potluck, and Tisarwat started off her school year with a hangover, with Lana offering to help. Wayne reminded Lana that proper creamer is white, while Elisabeth warned her not to drink it because it's blue. Sure, why not. Tisarwat did not appreciate Nina's usual greeting with a hangover, but Wayne was happy to see her and talk about classes.

Nina also explained to Elisabeth how getting food works here, and Keyleth maybe jinxed the dishes into growing legs while talking to Wayne. Hi, new kids! That... could always happen. Nina and Keyleth caught up before Keyleth asked about Wayne dressing up in a suit for Nina, and Wayne welcomed Kuroko and Elisabeth in, and Keyleth explained that this is a thing they do. Juillenne introduced herself and her familiar to Elisabeth, and Nina checked in on how Kuroko was settling in. Kuroko and Tisarwat said hi, Wayne offered a plate to Kyubey, who kind of threw Elisabeth off a little. It's a learning curve. Wayne and Juillenne and Juillenne and Keyleth caught up.

Simon got back and was welcomed by his roommate Tip, and got a visit from Delirium to introduce herself.

Meanwhile, Sabine tried to get dinner and instead ended up having to clean out the second floor fridge. Nina ordered Trevor to help, and he did, by checking on the stuff Sabine gave him, and also by eating some of it. Kuroko helped and found out how food and cleaning work around here, and Nina recognized the name Rory Gilmore on one of the labels.

...Oh god. Oh no. That's... that's maybe older than you think it is, guys.

Anyway, they did the completely rational thing of calling Sidon to have him trade this fridge with the one on the sixth floor, with Lana offering to help. You know you can clean it, right? It's probably less work than moving appliances.

Over in town, Rosa did some reading at the trooper station, Amaya was at the forge, which was advertising a back to school special, Summer was trying to get work done around Apu being needy, and Shunsui got some writing done at the Perk. Breq also got invited over to be a muse, and I wasn't aware that was how people found muses, but to each their own. Also Beau found the parkour course at the gym was school supplies. And Modern Earth Entertainment is back, where Peter welcomed Amaya back and promised no mushy stuff, and Fjord was glad to be back because this is apparently where you see movies. Sure!

That's the last of my notes, which again, were given to me by gremlins, so I'm going to leave. Good luck, all.
throughaphase: (hey what's up)
[personal profile] throughaphase
Morning, everyone. This is Kitty, here with Lexi, bringing you yesterday's news while also keeping tiny baby hands away from squirrel tails. Ow, ow, that does not mean my hair, ow let go.

Anyway.

It's break week, so there's not much from school except Tip suffering through a library trip before vacation. In the dorms, Sabine showed up for breakfast but Wayne wasn't there, which left Mae crawling on cabinets to find food, Sabine and Prompto disagreed over whether there was anything weird going on this week- no there's not, dammit- Mae made Prompto cereal and he asked her about using the Holoscene, Nina was sad that Wayne left but Sabine told her to call and yell at him, which seems like the thing to do, sure. Nina also offered to cook Mae some ice cream for breakfast, which wait what no. She offered fruit to make Prompto's ice cream healthy, but I still have questions.

Then over in town, Beau was on water transport duty at the gym, and Rosa found her desk drawer at the trooper station filled with coffee. As a parent, that's a waste. That's right! Who's sleeping schedule got completely messed up by being plastic for a week! Yep, that's you!

*pause*

Ahem. Delirium and Barnabus headed to the Perk, where they don't serve beer, and Rey and Ben met and found out some differences between their universes. Ah, Fandom. Just wait until the newbies show.

That's all I've got. Talk to you next time!
throughaphase: (are you even serious?)
[personal profile] throughaphase
Morning, Fandom. This is Kitty, hoping you're all doing better after a few days. And if you just got back after all that, be glad!

As for the notes, at school, Cutthroat Games went the inflatable sumo route, Adaptability had a discussion about self-care, which is probably a good idea, and International Cuisine visited the Tsuut'ina nation for food and casino time.

In the dorms, Wayne was making breakfast as a person again, with him and Nina celebrating things like being able to sit again, and her trying to get him in a suit, while Nina and Shuri celebrated food and talked about a dorms potluck, while Wayne and Shuri compared cooking histories.

In town, Beau was catching up on the news from last week and cursing, which is appropriate! It sucked. As proof, Liam was at the gym before the doors opened and filled her in on what happened, Rey found a sparring partner in Beau, and Clint came in to check on his employee while actually meeting her. Rosa was at the trooper station, where everything was awkward, Amaya was inspired to work on some new stuff at the foundry, where Seivarden came with a tea distraction, and Sabine filled Hera in on what happened.

Yeah... You might want to listen to radio last week. It's... something. Next week will be better.
throughaphase: (toy!)
[personal profile] throughaphase
Kitty: Good morning, Fandom! This is Kitty with all your news from Monday! I know it started off not so great, but I think we're all in agreement that it got so much better! Now let's have our news!

Sabine: Yeah, let's!

Kitty: What are you doing here?

Sabine: I thought it would be a good idea if I jumped in. Do you have a problem with that?

Kitty: Of course not! The more the merrier, right?

So at school, Cutthroat Games ran a really fun obstacle course, and Adaptability and You played with a puppy, and International Cuisine was canceled. Aww, that's too bad.

Sabine: He really should be doing his job. Tip was at the library doing her job.

Kitty: Maybe he was somewhere having fun.

Sabine: There's such a thing as too much fun.

Kitty: Okay, well! Let's move onto the dorms.

Sabine: I'll take these. Wayne was super nice and made everyone breakfast! He and Shuri talked about multitasking and riding a Roomba while it's cleaning. That's... pushing it.

Kitty: As long as all the jobs are getting done, it's appropriate!

Sabine: I guess. Astrid and Shuri agreed that Wayne and breakfast are both good, and Mae learned the hard way why you have to be careful with your things! That includes food! Mae and Shuri and Mae and Astrid talked about all the fun they were gonna have, and Nina was super glad to see Mae! Nina's always glad to see everybody. Like me! We're thinking of throwing a party. Wouldn't that be fun? Mae and I were very glad we didn't have to turn in any traitors. Wayne made me sunny eggs for a sunny day, and most importantly, Wayne and Nina celebrated one less bad toy!

Which Verity and Liam, and Steve and Tony watched together in town. It's important to experience these things together, it reminds everybody of what's really important! Don't be like the dean!

Kitty: ...Yep! Say, why don't I take some of these. I went to see Summer to get things for my adorable baby to play with. Luckily I have the happiest baby ever. Ever. Rosa let the boys work at taking in criminals while she danced, and Rey was enjoying the beauty of the park, meeting Prompto and telling Paris how happy she is here.

Sabine: That's good. You definitely don't want to be unhappy!! Amaya was doing good hard work at the forge, just like Regina, making turnovers for her coworkers at the diner! She also shared with Shunsui, which is a very special thing to do. And then Kitty decided to work extra at Caritas-

Kitty: Why don't I read those? I was there so I barely even have to look at them. Regina and I talked about our very good days, and Karla wanted a chance to get to know her better. Verity and Shuri and I agreed that no one wants to end up like Anakin, and Kanan told me about bringing his puppy in to work. Rey and Tony stopped in to say hello, Summer brought scones, and Karla was happy to see how full the bar was. It brings me joy that I can make others happy, is all. And at the Devil's Nest, Eric was there to talk to people, like Sabine here, who talked about how you can have too much fun and... disaparaged my bar. You know what, that's fine.

Sabine: Yes, it is fine.

Kitty: Yeul got a fun drink, Eric complimented Karla's work, and Karla and Yeul were determined to catch more traitors. It's good to know people are on the job!

Well, looks like that's all the notes!

Sabine: Till tomorrow, Fandom. Stay vigilant and happy!

Good morning, everyone. This is Kitty, and I still haven't figured out what's up with this place. Let me tell you how nervous that makes me now. I don't trust you, island. Let's see if there's anything in the notes that will give me any clue.

At school, Cutthroat Games did axe throwing, making the 'cutthroat' part worryingly literal, and Adaptability was about getting through when portals are being a pain. Ah, a time-honored tradition. And International Cuisine went to get seafood from Australia.

In the dorms, Wayne was making his weekly breakfast, where Vette told him about having a surprise for Sidon, and how it's weird when things look normal, while Nina demanded presents, and she also teased Wayne that maybe the weirdness of this week was him acting weird.

In town, Beau was showing off with her pull-ups, Rosa was at the trooper station, actually glad for a Monday, and I will say this summer has taught me a new appreciation for Mondays. Sometimes. Amaya got to do some normal work at the forge, and Nell was enjoying a normal day. So seems like everyone's doing okay. Well, aside from Fjord, who seemed to be having a bad time on the beach. I'm sorry. Hope it gets better.

That's all the notes I've got. I guess if it's still not weird, maybe I'll take Lexi for a walk. Ooh, maybe I'll stop for sushi. Do you know how long it's been since I've had sushi? Okay, that's my plan. Till next week, Fandom.
throughaphase: (slightly headtilty)
[personal profile] throughaphase
So lucky for me, water's not a big deal. Unfortunately for me, I got shot back home a couple times before I figured that out, so suck it, water. Anyway, this is Kitty with your news of yesterday.

At school, Cutthroat Games played Whirlyball, Adaptability broke blocks to see what would happen, and Summer came by just to see Kanan in a tail. Gotta admit, I want to see that too. International Cuisine went to Alofi South, which I have never heard of but it sounds less pixelated, and in the library, Tip was trying to work around little angry mushrooms.

In the dorms, Wayne did breakfast even though cooking's hard when you're 16-bit, and in town, Beau was maybe taking advantage of the setting to play at work, and at the trooper station, Amaya found fire flowers, which may have been a bad idea, and the troopers were turtles. ...Okay.

That's all the notes I have. Enjoy being spied on by squirrels that have grabbed the mushrooms and grown to twice their size. It's creepy.

Morning, all. This is Kitty, and I came back from a week off to find that the island is weird again. But so far nothing seems to be trying to kill us so I'll take it?

Right, so. In classes, Cutthroat Games saw Anakin flying solo to teach the class Clue, while texting with Aeryn to find out where she was. The squirrels are stalkers. Adaptability had a retro Kanan teaching about ducking and covering, so that's a thing that happened, and International Cuisine headed for Peru, and it sounds like they actually got there okay.

In the dorms, Wayne made breakfast even if the fridge sucked him in once, and Nina was in a good mood because she's human again. Congratulations.

In town, Rosa had a hard time delegating calls when troopers kept disappearing randomly, and Amaya found herself in a boring shop.

I'm not sure yesterday was quiet as much as the squirrels just couldn't find people. Now if you excuse me, I'm going to go home and see if I can special order a kid leash for my baby this week.

Morning, everybody. Soooo this is a new nightmare we've wandered into! At least the daytime's... Look, I'm trying here. Let's get to notes.

At school, Cutthroat Games played RISK, which Anakin and Aeryn got waaaaay too into.

*chittering*

Apparently it's a thing. Adaptability had to fight nightmare teddy bears and I'm just going to hope he didn't give the island ideas, and Delirium offered to take away Kanan's headache while Summer bought him a cake for trying to take his head off last week. As you do. International Cuisine took their field trip to Tokyo, and I'd be jealous if I didn't keep having bad experiences there, and at the library Tip was trying to talk the books out of showcasing horror fiction.

In the dorms, Owen seemed to have a tough wakeup, but as always, Wayne had a common room to cook for. He and Vette figured the smoke was probably a weeklong thing and also talked a bunch about peaches, and Delirium learned what aspirin is.

And in town, Beau made vacation plans at the gym, which feels like a really good call, Nell was trying to brighten up the flower shop, Rosa was trying to detective where we are now, and Amaya had to get herself back to normal after the weekend before heading to the foundry. She got a visit from Fjord, who wanted to get some work in, especially putting spikes on things. After dark Jack had to run after Kaidan, and of course poor Regina had to come to the island now. I promise we're usually better than this, and as someone who showed up like two days before the multiverse started disappearing, if you need to talk, just ask for Kitty.

That's all the notes, be careful, Caritas is open if you need to hide out. Maybe don't need a reason to hide out.

Uh, morning. This is Kitty, and I was here on time. It looks like the squirrels got a little turned around and got here late. But now that I have my notes, let's read them.

It's the first week back to summer school and Cutthroat Games got straight to the point with dodgeball, and Adaptability and You talked about everyone's strengths when things get weird out here, and the International Grocery Run went to Paris for food and shopping. After that, the books at the library taunted Tip with recipes. That sounds like them, yeah.

Wayne made breakfast in the dorms, where he asked Vette about her trip home and they also talked about glitter. There really is an obscene amount of glitter here, just as a general rule. He also tried to find out why she and Nina got glitterbombed, and Lana brought him back space food to try cooking. And later, Nina welcomed Prompto back with glittery hugs.

Finally, in town, Beau was multitasking between gym work and her phone, and at the trooper station, Rosa was preparing for the week ahead with weed-killer. Amaya worked on the roof of the foundry, and Sparkle decided to celebrate Canada Day by sitting out in the park after dark, lighting fireworks. Which is a terrible life choice this summer, but it got Wayne and Janet feeling patriotic, so at least there's that. Happy belated Canada Day, the island's still weird.

Morning, everyone! This is Kitty, who's very glad to be able to not be stalked by anything this week. Island, seriously, I'd like to be able to take my baby outside sometimes.

At school, it's the last week before break, and Cutthroat Games had some frisbee golf, Silly Bear class closed out with some meditation and Kanan checking up on Delirium, Working Together had Jenga plus dares, and the Philosophy of Food made meals that meant something to them.

Wayne had his pancake breakfast in the dorms. He and Lana were glad to not be under a leaky dome anymore, and she told Nina she couldn't go to her party because she's going out with Norman. Not a date, apparently. Nina made sure Wayne knows he's welcome at her party, though he's not big on the idea of eating before getting in the water, and Delirium came in with Barnabus even though she was sick. Feel better.

In town, Eliot woke up normal again after last week, and Rosa and the troopers were betting on what kind of week it's going to be. This island, I swear. Summer was restocking Turtle and Canary which is not hopeless, I am stocking up, Beau was checking the equipment at the gym, and Nell had some normal plants to tend to.

The big thing today was Nina's onsen party, where a bunch of people showed up and got in, which included Sidon and Nina being glad the island cooperated with the party plans, Owen and Nina flirting over bathing suits, and Nina and Prompto definitely did not get into a splash fight. Iris brought Silly and she and Prompto talked about him chocositting, and I'm not entirely sure what that is so I'm going to move on. Nina was confused as to why Wayne was refusing to get his hands wet, Pastor Carter got Summer a drink so she didn't overheat, Nina assured Vette she could safely sleep in the pool and told her about a bouncy castle, and Sidon totally snuck up on Vette. Totally.

That's all the notes I've got. Enjoy the week while we've got it!

Uh, good? morning, Fandom. Welcome to our newest dystopia. I swear I'm spending most of my time in town phased these days.

School still went on as normal, with Cutthroat Games playing lacrosse in order to practice hitting people with sticks. Silly Old Bear class gave up on a lesson today to discuss whether it's better to just keep treating these weeks like little emergencies. Which... sounds about right, actually. And then Lana asked Kanan what the situation was out there, Nina healed up his injury, and Sabine wanted to find out what happened. Working Together's course today involved two truths and a lie, and Philosophy of Food went on a field trip to redistribute food and maybe bring some back. Because the pickings are slim out there, people.

In the dorms, Wayne did his usual Monday morning breakfast even with what was left, and he and Nina talked about what it's like out there and made plans to go out and check it out. Please don't kick anything that has a crack in it. He and Lana wondered what the island was throwing at us this time, and somehow that led to him explaining goalies to her, and Nina described this place to her as a fishbowl. Which makes me feel kinda bad for fish.

Then in town, Liam came home to bandage himself up after going out, and Jono's been here before, so he and Hannibal apparently decided to take a vacation and more or less stay gone. I'm honestly surprised people don't do that more sometimes.

Nell was at work like usual, and Beau also got to work after fighting off whatever those people are out there, and Summer got Turtle and Canary open, and was offering special orders since they got picked over pretty good. Lana and Sabine still made a shopping trip, though, and at the trooper station, Rosa had like no calls.

*long silence*

*just a very long silence*

All right, so I'm not saying anyone should come to the bar, but if you're already out and need somewhere to hole up, Caritas will be open and nothing can get you in there. Be safe out there.

So, good morning, I guess? This is Kitty with your morning's news, which is basically that it's terrible out there, don't go. Monsters I'm sure you're all fine with, the radiation I'd be less okay with.

School proceeded as normal, with Cutthroat Games playing Uno in a vault, Silly Old Bear class discussed inner nature, and Lana talked to Kanan about the state of the island. Working Together was canceled, and the Philosophy of Food took a field trip, which was probably smart.

Wayne held his usual Monday breakfast, with the usual girls coming around. Nina noticed that the food had gone different but was willing to help anyway, and Vette noticed that Nina's clothes had changed, but telling her to be safe was apparently a bad idea. Wayne seems pretty over the island changing but told Vette he'd keep up this tradition, and Lana was glad to have someone who can cook the local foods around. Even if those foods are potatoes.

In town, Summer came back from hunting to make sure Turtle and Canary was stocked up, Amaya found herself with a working forge, and Rosa didn't appreciate being on desk duty today. I can't imagine she would. Hera found the scrapyard mostly normal, which was good since Wayne came looking for work, and Sabine told her about giant scorpions in her warehouse. Meanwhile Beau found a lot of gym equipment scavenged for parts or missing. Iris hung out on the roof of her store, and Nell passed out at work and decided to stay there for the night. Someone might want to check that she got back okay. Finally, Wayne and Nina flirted over finding the bomb in the park and I cannot stress this enough, leave the bomb alone. If you kill us all you're getting so much detention.

That's all my notes. Be careful, call me if you need something and don't want to leave, and don't touch any bombs.

Morning, everybody! This is Kitty, here from my house. The squirrels came to me, so I don't know what that says about what the station looks like, since I have no problem getting around on a differently-flooded island.

*chittering*

Yep, totally bragging.

School still happened regardless, because here we stop for winter holidays and that is it. Cutthroat Games embraced the weird and played water polo, and Anakin and Aeryn trash talked each other over water wings. Silly Old Bear class mostly discussed how to walk a dog in a flood, but Sabine checked whether this weekend had happened before- yes- and Nina was glad to see her at her right age. Working Together had to describe animals to be drawn as a team, and Philosophy of Food had to choose between foods and explain the decisions. And Tip made it in to the library, even if it got her researching better ways to get around.

In the dorms, Wayne was making his weekly Monday breakfast, where he and Vette talked about cooking and food back home, Nina welcomed Vette back by showing her pictures from the weekend and they decided they'd made up, and Vette told Lana about missing the weekend. Lana had figured out this was the breakfast common room, and Nina came in for her weekly food and compared homes with Wayne.

Looks like town news was mostly about people seeing what was up. Amaya tried to save the stuff in her forge, Dante tried to leave the hotel and found himself in water, while Sparkle and Hernando were surprised by what was outside. Beau checked out the state of the gym, Rosa made it to the trooper station where Ralph had scuba gear, and I'm not sure he's wrong for that, Summer found that Turtle and Canary was dry, and Nina stopped in to do some tablet shopping before checking out the Bookbelt. Sia waited out a canceled portal at the Perk, and got to introduce Atton to otter baristas, and Tony was trying to build something to keep the water out at Stark Industries, and Steve brought bagels from not-Fandom and they had a lot of stuff to work out after the weekend. Hope it all wwent okay.

All right, that's all I've got. Stay dry, and know that Caritas is dry! I'm still trying to figure out how to get people into it. Knock and I'll phase you in? I don't know, it's a work in progress.

Morning from Savage Land Lite, everybody! This is Kitty Pryde-Barton with yesterday's news, which for some crazy reason had a lot to do with dinosaurs.

At school, Cutthroat Games played paintball- the teacher won, and Silly Old Bear class did things spontaneously. Also Kanan's dog is a dinosaur, bring your dogasaur to the bar. Working Together ran a confidence course as a team, and the Phlosophy of Food talked about how settings affect your food experience. And Tip was at the library to educate people on dinosaurs. It would be a good idea to know what's a dinosaur you have to avoid and which ones you can make friends with.

At the dorms, Wayne was making breakfast in the third floor common room and offered some to Sabine, who gave ideas on how to stave off boredom. Nina also got food and told him how her pet's gone spiky, which led to them looking outside. Sooo maybe those two things are connected? Sabine wasn't much help because she didn't know that type of pet existed. And Janet's call home was interrupted by flying dinosaurs outside, which somehow led to Shuri getting an education in what furries are. I'm not even gonna ask.

In town, Beau didn't trust a chair at the gym, Sparkle found Demon Marcus taken over by prehistory... and now I'm worried for my bar. Hannibal was there to try and find clothes that didn't have scales, and Sparkle texted with Hernando, who had his own problems. Rosa was stuck at the trooper station, fielding calls, and Summer headed to T&C with her giant ass cat. Kanan brought Stance and they got to compare what happened to their pets, and after happily freaking out in town, Mae came in to trade the contents of her pockets for some gum.

Hannibal and Jono woke up to changes at their place, and Hannibal got texts from Iris, Jack decided it was smart to try and ride a T-rex, and I feel like the very existence of a T-rex on this island should concern people who can't phase. Nell was enjoying the different plant life, Liam got a call from home, a text from Hernando, and coffee for Verity.

That's all the notes I have. Be safe, sorry about some of your clothes.
