Later on Rey gave herself homework to work on at the Perk, where Duke asked about her project and she got to show off a power. Karolina appreciated the books and it turns out Rey knew of her from the latter's time as a student, and Duke wondered why Karolina would come back after time away. Because this places grows on you in weird ways. Octavia was listening to music and playing the drums, and at the trooper station, the troopers celebrated the new year early while Rosa- and the notes insist this- cuddled a cat.
