*tiny baby lion roar*

*poof*

Oh my god seriously? Squirrels, why would you bring me to the radio station while I was a cat? This is not how I want to do radio!

*sound of notes being pushed*

Okay, well. Guess I'm doing this. This isn't humiliating at all. Morning, everybody. I'm not saying who this is because this is not the first impression I want to make. Welcome, new students! I missed the picnic! This place an adjustment, but hopefully you'll survive the experience.

*chittering*

Of course I was kidding.

Over at school, Cutthroat Games started with Monopoly. Yeah, that will wreck lives. Then Kanan decided to make me say The Tao of a Silly Old Bear every week, so thanks for that. They did introductions and Sabine questioned this particular decision and walked away with a TA position. Working Together did introductions and then chose a captain to run an obstacle course. The Philosophy of Food got students to, uh, expand their horizons when it comes to food and I think my horizon ends very sharply at fried tarantulas. Finally in the library, Tip found it to be suspiciously quiet, and Shuri came by to ask questions about things like the multidimensional nexus. You know. Easy stuff.

In the dorms, Wayne was making breakfast in the third floor common room, where he offered to make Nina some, and he got to meet Vette who clarified that yes, she's blue, and he wondered what there is to do around here. My suggestion is try some new hobbies and see what you end up liking. And Delirium brought Barnabas to sneak some bacon.

And then there's town, where Beau and Prompto hit up the gym, and Summer had all the signs up at Turtle and Canary. If you're looking for a job or a sale, check there. And lastly, at the trooper station, Rosa was shipping paperwork back to Baltimore.

That's all I've got. Clint? Honey? Please be listening, I need you to bring me clothes.

Morning, everybody! This is Kitty for some reason, here with a baby who refuses to be put down or she cries and I got corralled over here too fast to get the caffeine that allows me to deal with that. So this is going to be a weird, stalkery storytime, I guess.

Lexi, please don't grab the squirrel.

There weren't any classes since we're still on break, but Tip was still in the library, where the books were throwing a pool party. I have questions about how those pages held up.

Nothing in the dorms, but in town, Hernando invited Sparkle over for breakfast and the ability to complain about work, and Beau was working on the parkour course. I really do need to get to that, like Liam did, where Jack just wanted a spar. Rosa probably didn't need one, since she snapped a computer mouse in half at the trooper station. Rosa, what. Also, why. Speaking of why, Summer's shift at Turtle and Canary involved both shrimp frosting and towers of boxes of glitter and I have concerns.

Seriously, honey, I'm going to need you to stop trying to grab Leroy's tail. I do not want to take you to the clinic for a bite from a drunken radio squirrel.

Iris, bless her, actually got the shrimp Jello and tried to get Summer to try it and talk about who she's not dating, Jack was getting caffeinated at the Perk and met Iris, who she lectured on how bigoted people are here.

I mean, everyone's experience isn't universal, and there are always new people who never knew aliens or mutants or magicians or whatever were real and now they're meeting them while dealing with culture shock, but in eight years here I've found most people tend to get over it pretty quickly. I've seen countless people be able to live their lives out in the open no matter what they are or who they love or where they come from, even if they can't anywhere else, even right across the causeway. Generally no one cares unless they're just a jerk, and there's no cure for that.

But hey. What do I know.

Anyway, she was nice to Fjord, and Nell was hard at work at the flowe-

*sounds of crying*

It's okay, he just ran under the console. He's still there somewhere. Hiding. Because you keep grabbing at him.

*more sounds of crying*

So this worked out well! Lessons were learned today!

[personal profile] throughaphase
Really, guys? I actually got some sleep and you had to wake me up this early? This is just going to make me look into ways to keep you out of my bedroom.

Morning, everybody. This is Kitty. Apparently I'm doing this today.

Over at school, Culture Shock had an obstacle course for the final, and Sabine stayed behind to frown at Kanan for involving pudding. That is a good reason to frown at a person. Problem Solving ended class by fighting it out and declaring one person the victor, so Keyleth, congratulations... do you get an A or something? Not sure how this works.

In the dorms, Astrid was painting her side of her room and got to tell Sabine that she's leaving. Meanwhile Prompto was texting, and Nina's visit got them discussing why she sent a message to his friends. Seems like it worked out?

In town, Vette was working at the scrapyard with the bitey bits when Nina and Prompto invited her to lunch and also on vacation. So yeah, that worked out. Sidon was talking to the animals at Furnado, and Hernando set up the tea shop, and he and Sparkle talked about their kids. Finally, Liam was punching things at the gym, where Beau offered to help, and Seivarden greeted her and Liam.

Those are my notes, which was maybe not a reason to show up when I'm in bed. Thank god for coffee.
throughaphase: (all the frustrations!)
[personal profile] throughaphase
Morning, everybody. This is Kitty, here filling in for the usual girl. I'm going to guess either people are hiding out here, or they're hiding out for a different reason. Either way, the squirrels got me here.

Over at school, Adulting got a lecture on how to, uh, handle this week, and then they got to watch Lexi as a lesson, religion tried some divination, which got Lana asking about the cards they were using, and Civics made up scenarios about being on the wrong side of the law. And at the library, Tip was trying to find nice, boring things to read. See, I feel weird reading about the kids this week. Please no one do anything too bad, and please don't let the squirrels have detailed it.

Next, the dorms. I'm going to wince through these now. Sidon was working out in the salle when Sabine came in to stab things and wonder why no one told her about the week where everyone's trying not to jump each other. I don't have an answer for that. Breq also came for a workout, and saw the light at the end of the tunnel for this week.

...Is that all the dorm notes? Oh, thank god.

In town, Beau was also making use of the gym, and yeah, those places are going to see an increase of use for a bit. She and Seivarden sniped at each other, though I don't know if that's everyone's mood, or if that's normal. Rosa made sure everyone was nice and seated at the trooper station, Summer was keeping Turtle and Canary stocked with condoms, and at MHA, Atton and Sparkle managed a normal conversation about the former's talk with Hernando, which the latter then had to talk to Hernando about later. That's more talking than anyone else is going to manage this week.

You do not get to hear about me and Clint, don't be weird, squirrels. Movie class still met, though the subject matter was tough on Fjord and got Seivarden yelled at, and Fenris threw stuff and he and Fjord left, and poor Peter didn't know what the issue was. Believe it or not, none of that was about sex. Meanwhile, Peter and Amaya talked about the last time the island screwed with us. You know. Last week. And finally, at the Devil's Nest, Verity was just trying to survive her shift, while Miguel didn't know what was going on. I'm going to guess you've figured that out by now.

That's all the notes, so I'm going to... not be here.
throughaphase: (pursed lips)

Ugh. This is Kitty, filling in for some reason, and good morning and l'shanah tovah to everyone except the squirrels, who thought it was a good idea to drag the seven months pregnant woman out of bed to go gossip about people on a day when she has to work late.

So. School. Shop class made chainmail, Badass Women was canceled for what I assume is the same reason that means I'm here now, and Circle of Life talked about... becoming hitmen. Hypothetically. You guys, can you not. Kids, please, at least consider college before turning to a life of killing people for money. How to Make Friends talked about their public personas, and paired up to discuss what they wanted people to think about them. Gee, I would like people to think I'm not someone you wake up early for no reason. Tip caught a show in the library and got a visit from Astrid to confirm that yes, it's 2018, and for help on a computer project, and Karolina was trying to get stuff settled for fall in the guidance office.

No dorms this time, but in town, Rosa tried to figure out this week's class and caught up on radio, and I'm going to hope you've figured it out by now. Alluka dressed up at Demon Marcus and got Sparkle telling her how cute she is, Atton made a call to Sia, and Prompto went for a run in the park. New guy Fenris found him on the ground post-run and made sure he was okay, and Kanan had Iris over to his warehouse for pizza and sharing. I think they mean sharing the pizza and like, conversation, but you never know with squirrel notes.

That's everything. I'm going back to bed. Everyone but the squirrels, have a good day.
throughaphase: (good with this)
[personal profile] throughaphase
Morning, everybody. This is Kitty again, and hope you all had a good Christmas, if that's your thing. And it looks like all my notes today- seriously, I didn't sign up for this, squirrels- are about people's Christmases, so if that's definitely not your thing, maybe tune in again tomorrow.

So we have the squirrels spying on Steve and Tony's early morning cuddle time like little stalkers, and Hannibal and Jono had a slightly busier thing at their place. There was breakfast, where they were glad for the quiet, and everyone there exchanged presents. And at dinner, Hannibal tried to figure out how to send Lucille home with leftovers.

And then 33 Apocalypse had their own Friendsmas type thing, where people woke up and hit up the presents. Dante and Kathy were cute in their present exchange, and there was talk of adding K-dramas to the TV playlist, Kathy wished Ada a merry Christmas, and the rest was mostly a hangout day. Ezra showed up as a surprise and caught up with Dante and got flirting and breakfast out of Kathy, and Ada told Dante it's summer back home and she's here where it's cold just for this. And then there was dinner, where they skipped grace because food.

That's all I've got. Enjoy non-holiday real life, everybody.

Morning, everybody. This is Kitty, over in New York, where everything is insane and yet the squirrels think it's a good idea to come and harass me into reading notes.

*chittering*

I mean, it wasn't like I wasn't already up. I swear I still live there, by the way.

Anyway, there's no school because it's break, but Tip was still manning the library and got a visit from Breq to check if she was okay and to talk over the weekend. And in the dorms, Eric was engaging in some post-badness baking.

In town, Dante tried to sneak in at home, but Kathy found him looking worse for wear, and apparently it wasn't even from the weekend. He couldn't get away without Anders seeing him, either, and Anders also checked in on how Kathy was doing and apparently they'd forgotten about cultists? Sparkle was at the Perk, trying to remember to eat and have coffee, and he got a confusing call from Leto, and Atton tried to get him to answer orders from himself instead of just doing what he was told. I have some concerns here?

It seemed like a semi-normal day at Luke's, where Eliot was pointing out why latkes and pork were a bad combination for the menu- happy Hanukkah, by the way- and explained to Mitsutada about the usual winter crises that pop up. And Miguel came looking for a blonde he'd fed over the weekend, and even if things were settled, Octavia still went on patrol.

That's all I've got. Take care of yourselves over there.

Hey, I've got a question. What the hell happened this weekend?
throughaphase: (about to speak)

Happy Halloween, everybody! THis is Kitty Pryde here with your Halloween Eve news because I have 10 minutes to do this and I'm easier.

In classes, Creative Writing got a holiday-themed assignment, Ethics got egg babies to take care of instead of horrifying robot children, The Art of War got a movie day- spoilers, my class, you're getting the same- and in the library, Gratuity was being horrified for what passes as a costume these days.

In town, Alluka was selling Halloween costumes at Demon Marcus, and Kathy got a visit from Dante while she was hanging out in a warehouse playing guitar.

That's everything. Have a safe and happy holiday, everyone!

Good morning, everybody. This is Kitty Pryde-Barton, and I guess I still do this once in a while? But the stack of notes here isn't that big, so I can't really complain.

Aside from me being up early on a Saturday.

*chittering*

Okay I'm always up early on a Saturday, but you don't need to announce it, you little stalkers.

Anyway, over at school, Practical Diplomacy talked about how to handle paying for a big group lunch. I will say the worst way is for half the group to fake an appointment or a meeting and skip out early by throwing a twenty down. Discovering Earth headed way up north to see the Northern Lights, ooh, Driver's Ed finally got behind the wheel and I assume they're all still in one piece, and in the library, Lucille had a nice normal day. Enjoy it while it lasts.

And then in town, Dante had chips, guacamole and loud music at Groovy Tunes and that sounds like the makings of a good day, Peridot was entranced while fixing a sewing machine at Stark's, and Ringo and Raven met up to come up with a plan to bring Kathy back, and then went to get help from Hardison, Parker and Eliot. I'm not really sure what any of that means, but good luck.

And that's all I've got today. Till whenever next time is.

Morning, guys. This is Kitty Pryde-Barton, filling in this morning and bringing you all the news from Monday. So hopefully these notes are good because I get to sleep in on Caritas days.

Also all the glitter in this place cannot be good for the machines.

In school news, Music Appreciation talked about and listened to different types of folk music and discussed it, with Gratuity asking Jono and Hannibal about Nina Simone vs Billie Holliday. Flight and Flying had the students giving out orders on a Star Destroyer, Extreme PE got to rethink their choices from last week, and Building Healthy Relationships talked about what to do if things weren't working out, and if there was anything else they needed to cover.

In the dorms, Ada was taking advantage of the glitter rain by collecting it in buckets on the deck. I'm sure apologies are in order to her roommate. She and Dante flirted over what to do with the flitter, and Hyacinthe asked if this was common and complimented Dante's glitter hair before they exchanged numbers. See I always feel creepy saying things about the kids. Blame the squirrels, not me. Ada invited Lucille to play and told her the glitter reminded her of home, Lucille and Hyacinthe got acquainted, Hyacinthe and Ada flirted about... sticky things, KIDS STOP FLIRTING ON MY WATCH. And Ada and Isabela danced in the glitter rain, which honestly sounds like a great way to spend a day.

In town, Dante checked on his bike by the causeway, it was so quiet at the Arms that it made Mary paranoid, Dani got hit with glitter for checking out the firefighters, Hanna was spending her time at the post office untying cables- Eponine, were those the ones you lost?- and at Caritas, Kenzi had specials on frozen drinks. Which sounds amazing. Because hot.

But it's early, so I'm of for iced coffee. Till my next fill-in.

Morning, people of Fandom. This is Kitty Pryde-Barton- I love saying that still- and I'm here with all the news of what you guys did yesterday because a group of squirrels spied on you all day and got me out of bed to tell everyone about it over the air. Yes, it's weird. Yes, you get used to it.

[personal profile] throughaphase
Hey, Fandom. This is Kitty with your weekly news broadcast, and you really need this news. Seriously, this is not one where you just turn the radio off and don't listen. Yesterday we got attacked by a race called the Brood. They're the actual worst. And there's absolutely no right way to say this, but if they stabbed you, that's their way of implanting a Brood embryo inside you. It's how they reproduce. If you're one of those people, you're going to notice some changes, and you're going to want to get yourselves to the clinic.

The good news is, I have some experience with them-

*ANGRY CHITTERING*

No, no, no. This is not because of me. It's because I beat the Brood last time I saw them. It's possible, I swear. And I was able to get some help from a friend so that we can get those things safely out of you, so if you're a science-y type person, we're going to need your help.

And then Anakin sent out a call for help from everyone about that giant ship above us, so I'm going to go ahead and assume that's going to get taken care of. Hopefully.

So, as for what happened yesterday... Lucille was lucky enough to turn into a moth, and Lottie hid in the closet with her dog, aww. I wish I could be more consoling, but... good move. Hannibal just decided to ignore the invasion in favor of food and tea, which on the other hand is a total dick move, and why it's a dick move is gonna become pretty apparent in the rest of these notes.

Because everything else is related to fighting Brood. Pinkie tried to make friends with the Brood Queen... THEY GOT THE PONY? What the hell, Brood? Ada tried to make a run for it but couldn't, and then when Dante tried to help her to the clinic, the Brood got him, too. This is terrible. Anders tried to fight back, as did Gwen, Momoko and Jaime picked a terrible time to stop by but managed to fight them off... Raven was able to portal some Brood away before she got it too... Fred exploded some Brood, Anakin called Jaina as soon as he saw the ship, Eliot had too much fun fighting them but seemed to be okay when he found Hardison at Luke's, where they got attacked and also freaked out about Parker being gone. Just saying, you might want to check on her.

Skaar gave them a fight at the Rocky bits but that didn't help- not that that stopped him, Bo took a hit and kept on fighting alongside Kenzi, and Rey was giving a Brood the whatfor when Clint came to help and they decided to team up. Clint, all things considered... thank you for not coming home with a Brood baby.

Jessica brought the troopers out to fight until I called her back to the trooper station to figure out a plan. And she was able to get a portal open at Stark's so that people could corrall the Brood there to be shot out to god knows where, where they can't hurt anybody.

And speaking of Stark's, the Brood found Tony and... kidnapped him? Steve and Tamsin weren't able to stop it, and... I've never heard of that before.

So, everything is terrible, but we're fixing it. Stay safe and stay smart, Fandom.

Okay, okay, I'm here. Morning, and for the newbies, this is Kitty, and sometimes the squirrels think they're funny. I was not expecting to be dragged out of bed for this, but what're you going to do. Except get lots of coffee on the way home.

So. At school, Computer Science started off with introductions, and Laura asking me about how information from the class might be used. Lying 101- really?- also had introductions, as did Practical Phys Ed, but they did it with dodgeballs. Oh my god. Isabela caught a dodgeball that made her a TA, and then everyone had to run laps. Somestimes I'm glad I'm not a student. No offense, students. In the dorms, Laura was hanging out on the roof, where she and Eggsy talked about the danger in sitting on a ledge and about what she can do which is not a reason to test it, Laura. And Skaar jumped onto the roof to test that it was reinforced, and he and Laura tried to figure out where they can fight without wrecking a lot of stuff.

And finally, in town, Alluka showed up early for her first day at Demon Marcus, with her bunny. Atton was playing pazaak at the Perk, and Eliot showed up in time to make the cook at Luke's stop trying to rack up Fitbit steps. Kathy came in to tease about how the day's special meant she couldn't get free food, and at the Devil's Nest, Jack was all tan and trying to get rid of the Christmas-themed vodka. I'm keeping mine for Christmas in July.

That's all my notes. I'm headed for coffee. Glorious, wonderful coffee.

Morning, everyone. This is Kitty, and welcome to your last week of freedom before school starts up again. Enjoy it... right after radio.

In the library, or "what's Face up to?" news, he was distracted today. There was nothing in the dorms, but in town, Bellamy finally got an apartment and ate and watched TV, and Parker and Eliot had a picnic in the park. Isabelle spent her last shift at Wonka's finding a dirty note- the squirrels see all- Dani found a surplus of hay bales at the Gig, and Anders got a shipment at the Magic Box of boxes, inside of boxes, inside of boxes... We're kind of living in excess these days, huh? And then Nathan also got to side eye the boxes and catch up with Anders about sleep and stuff.

That's all I have. Enjoy the week!

Morning, everybody. This is Kitty Pryde with all the stuff you did yesterday, and I actually have notes this week. Go Fandom!

In the library, Face was reading up on snubfighters, and then there was the dorms, where all the big stuff happened for once. First, Flick went to Isabelle's room, where she left the party early and they got into it because he won't try and make friends in her world. Try and make friends, Flick.

And then Kathy hosted a sleepover on the sixth floor. People showed up, with Ringo declaring that she was going to take notes and then talking with Kathy about a potential visit to Tokyo. Raven told Kathy she'd kidnap people to the party if enough people didn't show up, and Ringo complimented Raven's pajamas before they talked about where and when they're from. Kathy let Isabelle taste test the Jello shots while talking about Flick, and she and Raven met even though Isabelle leaves in a few weeks. Kathy fawned over Hanna's cat and told her about games they could play, and Hanna and Raven mainly talked about Raven's hair in her natural form. Ringo and Hanna caught up, and Kira assured her how easy it is to throw parties here. Seriously. Put up a poster and people show. Though you'll probably still have a lot of "what if no one comes?" fears, not that I ever get that. Alana brought fudge, which Kathy exchanged for a drink, and they talked about needing weekly parties for the rest of the summer. Ada only read about sleepovers in books so she didn't know what to expect, and she and Kathy talked about carnival magic, and Kathy offered Kira drinks and help with college prep. Those two things don't go togeth- Actually, no, drinking and college totally go together, what am I saying. And then they got to I Never, Truth or Dare and Spin the Bottle, and as an occasional teacher I'm not reporting details on annnnnny of that.

And then finally in town, Stark was at the clinic with donuts, Anders was working on a mage rights manifesto at the Magic Box, and Isabel was selling sour candy at Wonka's to go with her mood.

That's all my notes. Enjoy your break!

Morning, everybody. This is Kitty Pryde, back from where I was not getting kidnapped by aliens. Let's have less of that from now on.

*chittering*

Do as I say, not as I do.

In the library, Face finished his work and then got to work on his napping skills, and while there wasn't any news from the dorms, there was some stuff in town. Electroclash was at the Perk, waiting for Fandom to be interesting, and after recent events maybe be careful what you wish for. What she got was Bellamy there to bicker with her. It seems like that's all this guy does. It was Bring Your Cat to Work Day for Anders at the Magic Box, and Hardison hit the beach for a birthday celebration with Parker and Eliot. Happy birthday! If you're at Caritas this week, drink's on me. Anyway, Eliot thought Hardison should be watching the waves instead of his phone, and I say if you take pictures of the waves with your phone, that's compromise.

That's all the news I've got today. See you next week!

Happy Monday, everybody. This is Kitty Pryde, who had a great week. And I promise I won't spend every conversation talking about weddings. Seriously, you have permission to smack me if I do.

That said, let's talk about what everyone else did. In the library, Face was totally not sleeping.

In the dorms, Flick ordered pizza and looked through furniture online in Isabelle's room, so she was surprised to see him there. But it was cool, and they talked about Instagram and furniture. And in his own room, Jasper was looking through some pictures. Then in town, Jono and Hannibal talked before the squirrels peaced out, I guess? At Wonka's, Isabelle was making sure the displays were pretty enough for Instagram, Anders was dealing with a shipment of magic tricks at the Magic Box, and Derek had to set aside wedding magazines- congratulations, by the way- at MCA to let Jessica rent an apartment and tell her how to avoid a Pinkie welcome party... Uh. Sorry.

That's all the notes I've got. Have a great day!

Morning, everybody. This is Kitty Pryde, back from vacation and ready to announce all your weekend plans to a listening audience.

In the library, Face was reading some poetry till Anders came in to ask what happened to Cassandra. Turns out she got to go home, at least for the time being. I don't have any dorms notes, so let's move to town, where Anders spent his time at the Magic Box reading ye olde spelle booke, and at Wonka's Isabelle was in a terrible mood and had a whip at hand, yeesh. And at Groovy Tunes, Jono and some electro swing going- I can't even figure out what that is- and Hannibal came in for birthday planning, and Natalie came to drop off a CD from her band, and Jono offered her some real recording space.

And that's all I've got. Happy Monday, guys.

Happy Monday, denizens of Fandom. This is Kitty, and let's figure out what happened yesterday.

Nothing in school, aside from the library, where Face napped through his shift. Sorry for tattling. And then in town, Jono was stuck having to run a sale on country stuff to get rid of all the stuff Fandom threw at him today, and Anders got an accidental shipment of fireworks at the Magic Box so he set them off, because it was July 5 and someone had to.

Thaaaat's all I've got? So I'm going to try and get some boyfriend time before I send him off to work. Till next time.

This is Kitty, who's back again. And thanks to that girl who keeps calling me 'old Kitty' who I've never even met but I automatically assume there's a timeline difference. It's been a rough few weeks.

Not much going on yesterday. In the library, Face was moping while the etiquette books shoved So Your Crush Went Through a Portal books at him. Awww- wait, we have those? Huh. And then in town, Anders was working hard at playing Candy Crush at the Magic Box, while Ringo was trying some tricks in the warehouse district.

That's actually all my notes. I guess you all knew I'd want an easy day back. Enjoy your yurts.

Morning, everybody. It's one of those days where the stack of notes I have makes me wonder why I had to come down early for what's going to be a two-minute broadcast, but the faster I can do it, the faster I can go home and go to bed. Or get coffee. Or both. I can do both.

In school, Face was reading, um, an educational book, which Cassandra got to field questions about and get flirted with over when she came in.

And the dorms were quiet, but on the bright side, so was town. Jono got distracted at Groovy Tunes by playing along with music he had going, Anders suffered through the heat at the Magic Box, and Jasper was skulking through the preserve at night, where weirdly a bunch of people showed up? Mabel was out exploring and looking for teal deer and Jasper gave her the opportunity to tell him about meeting the moose in the office- I swear to god that's real, newish people- Clarke was trying to find out how she got here, and after getting scared by Jasper he offered to come along, and Hanna was out running when she stopped to talk to him about classes and alots. Also it looks like Raven and Elsa were there for some powers practice in the afternoon.

That's it for me. See, two minutes. Off to get coffee and go back to bed.

Morning, everybody. This is Kitty Pryde here on a day that everyone else has off... unless you work or go to school here. Except me, because I took the summer off of teaching and I'm otherwise my own boss, and I make good decisions. Anyway, let's gossip.

At school there was nothing but Face doing reading during his library shift, which sounds totally reasonable. In the dorms, Blue came back to her room with Gatorade for Thorin, who was suffering from a hangover. Yeah, those'll happen. And Ronan woke up from a dream holding car keys? Ezra came by to catch up, and to talk about people saying things they don't mean. You know, your usual early Sunday conversation.

In town, Anders was also hungover at the Magic Box, and I'm gonna take a wild guess as to who he was hanging out with last night. Bob came in to give some unsolicited hangover advice, but Anders wanted to know how to prevent it for next time. And then he went to get piercings with Kathy and oh that sounds like the worst decision when hungover, but you do you. And then there was Edward who woke up in a tree after drinking? I'm not even gonna ask. Hanna happened by and offered water, even though she had to climb up the tree to get it to him. Good girl.

That's all the news I have to read today. Take it easier than you did the rest of the weekend, guys. If anybody needs me, I will be on the beach.

So! That happened. This is Kitty, back to the correct, normal age for myself at this time, here to bring you all the notes about what happened when you were old yesterday.

Sometimes I can't believe I have to say sentences like that. But whatever, my AU-or-potential future or whatever is great. A+.

There wasn't anything in school because, I mean, come on. Or the dorms, probably because people were weirded out being like thirty-five and hanging out in high school dorm rooms. In town, Ben and Ender took advantage of a morning in without responsibilities, Hannibal and Jono made plans to go on a drive but I think they were the same age so that's less interesting- sorry but everyone else was old- and then Hanna was holding Hardison hostage in the preserve... um. Then she made a call to Eliot, which brought him and Parker there to save Hardison. Okay your life in twenty years is... interesting, guys.

Scaling things down a bit, Anders was the same age and aggressively cleaned the Magic Box when King Thorin -and he definitely won the reunion. No one's topping that- stopped in to talk about why Anders might have stayed himself, and also about magic and dwarves. Atton headed down to Galactica Point with ice cream, where Sparkle came by to talk about Atton's hate for ice cream and how differently things could have ended up, and how this time went versus the last time this happened.

And then there was the brunch, where people could show up and grab some food and a seat and check everybody out. After talking to Ender about their kids, Envy grabbed Peter to peace out of the brunch, Hanna went to Hardison to catch up and asked him to go on a walk, and we know already how that ended up. Before that, Hardison and Eliot also talked about eating healthy so no one makes the other a widower. I feel like there would be some interesting talks with Derek and Stiles on that. Oh, hey, there's Eliot and Derek bonding over wanting bacon, and talking about their kids. And of course there were the lurkers, where Kathy was glad to see Anders and explained zombie LA to him, and he told her how Cassandra's basically like the Pope now. Okay, sorry, Thorin, Cassandra wins the reunion.

And that's all I've got. Enjoy the rest of your day without your knees creaking, and know that my boyfriend/husband stayed hot. Till next week.

Morning, Fandom. This is Kitty Pryde, coming at you on a... Sunday, which is sort of weird.

*chittering*

No, I wasn't checking my phone. You saw nothing. Anyway, let's get started on all the stalkery notes on what everyone did yesterday.

In the dorms, Hanna fed her cat while watching TV in the second floor common room, and so when Anders stopped in of course they talked about... well, the notes say "kitties" but I'm sure you can understand why that's never not weird for me. Gwen was Facetiming and online shoping in her room, Isabelle beat up her room, and Jasper was doing some emailing in his. Hanna stopped by looking for her cat- hopefully this was before the common room and she found it- and Clarke returned Jasper's clothes and wanted to get to know him.

*chittering*

Not a euphemism. And if it is, we're gonna pretend it's not. And not much going on in town except for Flick building a candy town on his first day at Wonka's, and Isabelle came in to buy some candy and continue a fight. Which probably has something to do with beating up her room and I'm glad I'm not a teenager anymore. Sorry, teenagers, I swear it ends someday.

On that note, I'm out of here and going to call my mom. And, you know, if there's anyone out there who might be expecting a call or text or whatever from you, call them back.

Morning, everybody. This is Kitty Pryde filling in on a Saturday, which means I'm tired but have hopefully enough coffee to get me through. Let's do this thing.

Hello, Fandom, and this is Kitty with my last broadcast of 2014! Dear 2014: seriously, you were weird.

Not much going on in the dorms except Flick eating breakfast in his room, but in town, Hannibal was working on his lesson plans at home when Jono came by to talk about chasing down... child slavers. Did not expect to be reading that on radio. Hatter was chatting with the barista at the Perk, and Anders was studying texts from home while working at the Magic Box.

And that's what I've got! See you next year.

I mean, unless I actually see you before then.

Morning, everyone. This is Kitty on a Monday morning and those carols are not okay. I wasn't gonna go to my other job this week but if I have to go to Westchester in another universe to not have to hear that, then okay.

Anyway, let's get started with the little stack of notes. In the library, Face wasn't getting a ton of wor done thans to being tied up by garland. And over in town, Anders was pacing the Magic Box to try and stay ahead of the garland, while at the gym, Clint was not so lucky. And normally I think of myself of a pretty good girlfriend, but... maybe not right then. Sorry, I love you!

That's all I've got, and I'm pretty sure people are going home or doing stuff for the holidays. So, happy whatever you celebrate!

Morning, guys! This is Kitty, here to completely screw with what day you think it is on a week when most of us are off of school/work! Also I have a Santa hat and I can't take it off, thanks so much for that during Hanukkah.

So in the library, Cosette was still working, patching up books and cruising Wikipedia. The dorms were quiet, and in town, Cara was soggy at Caritas and I'm a little terrified to ask why, and on the streets of town, Roland got to see a Christmas carol sing-off between the gremlins and squirrels. That sounds amazing.

*chittering*

I think they think they won. Anyway, Eponine also came by to share coffee and talk music.

And that's all I've got. Enjoy having hat hair that probably lasts all weekend after today!

Man, it sucks to come off a terrible week and then have finals. Happy Monday, Fandom, in that it's gotta be better than the end of last week, right? Right? Yeah, okay I'll just read my notes.

At school it was just Face, who found the library covered in salt. Yeah, it was possible people went a little overboard with that last week, but better safe than sorry, right?

In the dorms, Johnny got back from a trip home and called Alana who was having a tough time in her room and therefore got a visit from him to hear what happened and to distract her with stories about Mole Men. Aww.

And over in town, Anders was at work at the Magic Box and got a visit from Nathan, who got filled in on the trip to Ingvar to end things. By the way, thanks to everyone who went and did that. Gonna go ahead and speak for everyone else on that. Stark was getting in the holiday spirit with a Christmas sweater at the clinic, and Stiles was on Derek duty at the mansion to tell him the Peter stuff wasn't his fault, and Clint and I had a morning in with talk of whether my powers are ghostlike, which they totally are when I use them certain ways.

Weird note to end on, but hey. Have a better day today, everyone.

Morning, guys. Hopefully you all had a good holiday, because from here until December 25, it's nothing but holiday.

Not much going on yesterday, so I'm assuming everyone's still sleeping off food comas. Face was his right age in the library but he was still watching holos, and Anders was restless and writing something at the Magic Box.

Yep, that's all I've got. Go forth and do things, Fandom.

Morning, everybody who should be back to their correct age. Sigh, island. So let's get to talking about all the embarrassing things we did when we were tiny. And assume everyone's tiny unless I say otherwise.

At school, Face was surprised everything was on paper in the library, but he figured out the computer so he could at least watch stuff.

In the dorms, Flick was normal, and got a visit from tiny Isabelle because her stomach hurt and she wanted medicine, and she got called a whiner in return so she screamed at him. Sometimes I realize nope, I'm not ready for kids yet. In the third floor common room, Tobias made himself and other breakfast, and got some help from Rapunzel, who also gave him a hug. Awww. Nathan didn't eat yesterday- eat, little children! Pizza exists! So anyway, he was all about the food, and Rapunzel offered to share her oatmeal-stirring duties after explaining what oatmeal is.

And in town, Kit was playing with some dolls at the Magic Box, Travis went straight for the ice cream at Chilly Boulder which is exactly what you should do when you're little, and Stark was an adult and had cupcakes at the clinic. Which probably should have been the follow-up from ice cream.

And that's it! Have fun readjusting to doing normal things!

Happy Monday, people of Fandom. As usual this is Kitty Pryde, here bringing you a small stack of Sunday news. And you know what, that's okay. Sometimes you just need to lay around and do nothing. Which is maybe what I did. No regrets.

In school news, Face was trying to reshelve books that seemed to have gotten too big for them. Do the books get a little too into holiday eating, too?

The dorms were quiet, and in town, Anders replaced the Halloween decorations at the Magic Box with the winter/holiday ones, and I guess November 16 isn't a bad day for that. Better than November 1. And Stark was doing some super late spring cleaning at the clinic. Hey, it's spring in the southern hemisphere. It works.

And that's all I've got. Keep on keeping on, guys.

Morning, everybody. This is Kitty Pryde, and Kitty Pryde's cold, who's decided to stick with me when I have to work a billion jobs, because that's just great. Luckily there's not much going on.

Face was in the library, where the books were still getting over a sugar hangover, and Anders brought a kitten in to work at the Magic Box. Which sounds adorable. Less adorable is when he brought the kitten to see Kathy in her room when she was yelling at Tumblr. And that is why you'll never see me on Tumblr.

That's seriously all the notes I've got. I'm not complaining. I'm gonna go take DayQuil, bye.

Jaina: ...And I guess I'm doing radio.

Kitty: Did the squirrels kidnap you on the way to the gym?

Jaina: Is it that obvious, what with my gym clothes?

Kitty: It does paint a certain picture. I wish they did this earlier, then maybe I could have slept in. I mean, sorry about the squirrels, but... Anyway, so this is Kitty Pryde here with the woman with the giant blinding engagement ring, jeez-

Jaina: It's more popular than I am.

Kitty: -With Sunday's news. Whether we want to give it to you or not.

Morning, everyone. Yes, it's Monday again. This is the day I bet coffee was specifically made for.

So in school news, Face was in the library, doing work and checking that certain holodramas weren't there.

In the dorms,
Flick
apparently tried to get away with not telling anyone it was his birthday, but Isabelle knew and so she showed up with presents. Happy birthday, sorry for ruining the plan further.

Over in town, Atton hadn't really slept and was not getting out of bed, which can be a solid plan, Hatter was admiring clothes in his living room, and Reno and Rikku... uhhhh I'm not sure I should be reading that on air. Anyway, he turned into whatever a chocobo is. In more PG news, Dani was at the Gig playing with hay, Anders is mixing Christmas decorations into the Halloween decor at the Magic Box, and Isabelle came in to talk about how much merit the supplies in there actually have.

Sparkle went to check out the onsen- we have an onsen? Ooh. Clint, hint hint.- and Karina joined him to talk about how relaxing the place was when he turned into a dog. ...Okay maybe I want a no-transformation guarantee before I go. Jono was doing inventory at Groovy Tunes, and Dracula came in to talk about Mavis' birthday, and Hannibal got to listen to Jono's portalocity complaints until he up and turned into a snake. Uh oh. I see a trend.

That's all I've got. Have a good day, and hope you all stay exactly as human as you're supposed to be.

Morning, everybody, this is Kitty Pryde changing it up a bit and bringing you your Thursday news on Friday.

In school, The Art of Baking With Friends had a movie day because Pinkie was tired. So tired that she apparently gave them a stoner movie, oops. Meditation and Kicking Ass was missing a teacher, so Johnny gave them a pizza party, and Cosette was hungover at the library, which is when I'm sure she's really glad that she works in a library, of all places.

In the dorms, it was pretty quiet except for Travis skateboarding around and maybe wiping out, but I promise you no one saw it. Except the squirrels.

In town, Atton was on the MCA roof, doing touchup painting on his ship, and Flash got back from a rough day at home which is probably putting it lightly and hit the Perk, where I got to hear about it.

Quiet day, and I'm not complaining. Have a good one, town.

Hey, guys. Another Monday morning to get through. But that's okay. Get some coffee, start out slow, and you'll be just fine.

At school you had Face in the library, having a quiet day, and in the dorms, Travis was doing some texting, and Eleanor was reading a book when Ichabod came not to talk to her about her trip but for um, something I shouldn't read out loud or I'd give it away. See, I help.

In town, Edward was doing some swimming at the beach, becase you've gotta get that in before it gets cold and frozen. Nathan came by to talk about things like the weather, Barry not being around a ton and speed dating, and Isabelle came looking for some quiet. Instead, she and Edward talked about 3 Minute Dates and whether it was too late to sweep her off her feet. Turns out she sweeps the boys off her feet so let her be your personal hero today.

Flash was in a good mood at the gym till he got a phone call. Hope everything's okay. Anders was decorating the skeleton flamingoes at the Magic Box, and I can't wait to see what happens at Halloween, and Jessica was having ice cream outside Chilly Boulder when Gwen recognized her as the host for all the dating yesterday and stopped to say hi.

Okay, that's it! Bye!

Morning, everybody. I've got a lot of notes almost all about one thing today, so let's get through this.

Not much at school today aside from Face being at the library and checking out the alphabet here. Maybe that's a class we should consider for newbies, too.

And then... okay, apparently there's an order here with notes so we're throwing away structure this morning. Barry and Elsa woke up in his warehouse, where Barry assured her Eleanor and their friends were on their way back, and they were, and Barry brought everyone to be checked out. We have a clinic and professionals for that, students. Just saying. Jono- okay there's a clinic for you too- anyway, he had to warn that his medical readings would be wonky no matter what. Eleanor skipped an exam with Joker saying he'd take two in her place, and Elsa got her tea and threatened to kick Barry's butt if he pushed too hard for an exam. He didn't. Barry also checked out someone named Louise, and a Grace who is not related to my boss promised Jono that she'd look after Louise. Anders is a healer, so he assured Barry everyone was fine, and Raven was healed but let him check anyway.

Then Ichabod waited for Celia to come by and tell him all about the trip, and in the evening Eleanor got Grace and Louise sent off, then went back to the dorms where there was, ahem, comforty non-trauma stuff... and then apparently some trauma because they had to go to Anders to heal Joker's broken hand oh my god. Why do I have to read this stuff? Why?

And elsewhere, because why close on that note, Nathan was hanging in the preserve when he came across Anders, who told him about his trip with Eleanor, and Stark had cookies at the clinic, which was open for injured people to go to, by the way, and now I'm hungry.

All right, that's it. See you guys next week.

Morning, guys, and happy Labor Day! Sorry you still have to go to work or class. It looks like no one did anything, so let's get to it.

In the dorms, Mara was practicing dancing in their gym, at least till Travis came in and told her what modern gyms are like. If it's like Atlas, it's awesome with a hot guy running it?

That's not a paid commercial, but my boyfriend's pretty and I like to brag.

Johnny and Mara talked classes and how they'd ended up in some classes by accident thanks to the office. Over in his room, Nathan was mixing things together like he was making some kind of potion. Which I'm sure would only be used for good purposes, whatever it is.

And in town, Anders stayed late at the Magic Box just to draw faces on the tiny pumpkins there. I think they'd have been okay if you did that on working hours. I mean, it is a holiday weekend.

See, quiet day. Enjoy your last summer holiday-

Morning, guys, and welcome new kids. This is Kitty Pryde here with your Sunday news on Monday morning. Yes, things are insane here, but I promise, you get used to it.

So there was nothing at school, because that starts today, but in the dorms, Johnny was trying to sleep in till the squirrels dragged him down here. Sorry about that. Also, hi again, unless you're from a reality where I haven't met you yet, in which case this is weird and forget I said it. And on the deck, Travis was texting when Cecil guessed he was new and assured him he's not in danger from predators who eat new kids. Oh god, just as an FYI there are no predators that eat new kids.

As far as I know.

In town, I got some bad news from home, but I have a Clint and he's great. And then Atton moved in at MCA, which seems to have mostly included stocking up on booze and inviting Sparkle over for drinks and catching up.

Anders was decorating the Magic Box with pumpkins, and yeah, it might be a liiittle early for that. I'm not ready to start thinking fall yet. And then Flash was working out some anxiety at the gym. I feel like I probably should have gone there yesterday witheverything.

That's all the news I have. Enjoy the first week of school, and I have to go run to teach a class.
throughaphase: (Default)
[personal profile] throughaphase
Morning, guys! This weekend was much better, huh? And now we get to enjoy this week without classes before things start up again. And, you know, saying goodbye to people but I'm repressing that part so we're not going to talk about it!

So. No school, and in the dorms, Joker threw a last-minute birthday party for himself. Happy birthday! People showed up, like Barry who's a human again and talked to Eleanor about... hoagies, apparently. Jalian was new to this kind of birthday party, so Joker introduced her to the food and bad movies, Toby showed up for the food but got hellos from Joker and Eleanor, and Joker was around for the talking-to. Joker and Eleanor talked about his, um, present, which I can't talk about as a teacher because that's weird, Celia gave him a DVD which is much more radio-friendly, but she claimed it's not a present, and Barry just gave him a hard drive full of porn. Come on, you guys, have mercy on your radioer.

There were also bad movies to watch, and Barry and Joker tried to figure out the worst movie ever. It's Manos. This is not up for discussion. Eleanor was not enjoying the badness and wondered if Joker ever watches good ones, but Kathy started talking with him about what terribleness to sample next.

In town, Flash was having a normal day at the gym, and Stiles was at the Perk with coffee, and he and I talked about him going off to college- which should still not be allowed- and tattoos. And Jessica waited at JGOB with her bags and breakfast before her portal was scheduled. Cade tried to flirt with her, but they talked about where they're going to when they leave here, and then he gave her bacta patches in case she gets shot at home. That's... sweet? Please don't get shot. And Jessica and Sia talked about how they're going to miss each other, but they're still going to be talking all the time so it's not really goodbye.

At least we're going out on a hopeful note? Literally. That's my last note. And because it's my radio day and I can totally abuse the airwaves for my own personal reasons, happy anniversary to Clint. I love you and will see you later. Bye, all!

Morning, everybody. This is Kitty with another Sunday's worth of news. A lazy Sunday, by the look of these notes, not that there's anything wrong with that.

Nothing happened at school, and in the dorms, Nathan was watching a cooking show on his tablet in the fourth floor common room, where Edward wondered if that was a small TV. He wasn't too pleased to find out Barry gave it to Nathan, and then they got to talking about how rough it is figuring out the learning thing here, but they're getting help. That does suck, sorry. Rapunzel was gleeful about technology but told Edward she's scared of it, but that Barry got her shoes. Edward showed off that he knew what a tablet is and then they were all, um, curt at each other about how dating works here, and the lack of chaperones on dates.

....Oh my god. I would have gotten away with nothing if I had chaperones.

Um. Pretend I didn't say that. Ichabod introduced Nathan to Wikipedia. And probably doomed him to life in a Wiki loop.

In town, Barry was in his warehouse working on ways to entertain Cheryl's cat, and Spider-Woman was hanging out at Mooby Land, where Sia talked to her about potential costume changes. Oooh, if you need any help, I'm great at that kind of thing.

So that's all for me! Have a great Monday, and a great rest of the week.
