-no, I don’t know if herons eat squirrels but she hasn’t eaten you yet, has she? Best stay out of my apartment just to be safe.

No, I don't think she’ll stay this way. That’s not what I meant! She’s not going to stay this way. Give me the notes.
At the school, Amaya’s Shop Class made jack-o-lanterns out of concrete, Fixin’ Stuff had a movie day where someone else fixed other people’s lives, Anakin discussed deadly sins in his Ethics class, and Fear in Literature talked about a story about a cursed book.
The dorms were quiet. They nearly always are in the notes I get.
But the town was less quiet. It usually is. Some parts of it were quiet. I was at the park watching the birds, including Faye who is still a bird. I would very much like Faye to stop being a bird.

Hush!
Buck was washing the rig at the fire station though it seems a bit cold for that. Margo was at Pick Your Poison with no customers but she did put posters everywhere for a party this Friday. Oh. That explains those. Kitty found decorations at Caritas and apparently the clown was very creepy. Perhaps that’s why no one came in for drinks? Although there were also no visitors for Lucifer at The Devil’s Nest and there were no visitors there either, just workers making the stage smaller. That was probably less quiet than some of the other locations.
Not everywhere in town was quiet. At Groovy Tunes Tisarwat listened to music that sometimes screamed and Seivarden stopped in to discuss that and the trip to Boston, including the part where tea was thrown in the ocean. Liz was at the Photo Hut trying to think up ideas when Jon came in looking for Polaroid cameras. At The Magic Box Wanda lost her phone in all the decorations but Steve helped her find it when came by with Tony who is currently a pony. So many people turning into animals recently. I don’t like it. Octavia and Duke had dinner on her boat and neither one was animal-shaped at this time. And also not an animal was a new arrival. Well. That’s good. Being an animal immediately would be a terrible way to be introduced to the island. Meeting Rey while out walking was certainly a better introduction.
That seems to be all of yesterday’s news that the squirrels have given me today. Perhaps next week fewer people will be animals. One less person would be a good start...
