Fandom, hey. It's Kanan, here with notes because, yes, it's Monday, and no, the squirrels are never going to let me sleep in on a Monday again. At least there aren't many of them, which means the island's decided to cut us at least a little slack, for a while.
I'll take it.
Everything worth commenting on happened in town yesterday, with Amaya reassuring Apu that she wasn't just abandoning him to the new ownership over at Turtlre & Canary, Rey taking it easy over at Stark Industries for her last shift, Sparkle checking out the fall fashions at Demon Marcus, and me arguing with the cook at Luke's over the new direction he wants to take Sunday breakfast in. I maintain that you can't just replace a year and a half pancake tradition with waffles. You just can't. Fortunately, Summer stopped by to tell them off in the kitchen and I, uh, I caught her up on a few things. And Kitty managed to get them to agree to pancakes before catching me up on a few things. And, uh, getting my offer to babysit sometime in writing.
I refuse to believe that it's a trap.
Finally, in slightly less public but no less on the radio news, Hernando was taking it easy over at the Arms. Wine and movies? Not a bad way to do it.
And that's all the notes. I'm going back home and back to bed. Don't wake me unless something's burning down.
I'll take it.
