Fandom Radio, Friday, January 1st

Hey gang. Jim Halpert here. I had to speed back from New York to bring the squirrels some nuts, but they've finally agreed to let me have my Friday nights to myself again.

Fortunately, they agreed to this on a really light week because everyone was still in New York.

School

Nothing until the new kids come tomorrow.

Dorms

Leda dealt with being alone by playing a scary video game in the first floor common room which may not have been the best idea.

Later on in the evening, Claire was making a poster in the third floor common room to make finding her easier for her new little sibling tomorrow. That video game earlier didn't do Leda any good, because she wasn't entirely sure at first that Claire was real. Jon made sure the glitter wouldn't make him kiss any boys, then explained what New Year's was to Leda. Jennifer and Parker both discussed their lack of new siblings with Claire before teaming up to declare that Claire is a glittery fairy princess. And Leda continued to appreciate actual human beings when she greeted Jennifer and Parker.

Wrapping up stuff in the dorms, Andy hung out in his room, where Jack Priest came back to talk about break, and Sam stopped by to talk about a vision.

Town

Captain Price held down the fort at You Can Look At The Dangerous Weapons, But Don't Touch when Dani stopped in to set up firearms lessons. Does that mean you can touch? I find that kind of scary.

Damon challenged Tino for the Caritas Paper Football Championship, but the battle didn't really get going since Damon wasn't actually playing and then Seregil came in and actually had to be served.

And at the clinic, Mina was ready to help anyone who needed it. But nobody did. So there's that.

And that's it for tonight. It's been a blast helping the squirrels out for the past few months. Enjoy the last weekend of freedom, and I'll see some of you in class next Friday.
