Fandom Radio, Friday, December 11th

Evening, everyone. This is a smokey Jim Halpert, telling you that only YOU can prevent kitchen fires by not letting Biff cook in your kitchen.

Since we're learning things already, let's start with School.

My class talked about the best war ever: the Pig War. Nobody actually took notes, but everyone did watch a movie about a talking pig.

The topic of Engineering Math was ballistics, something I know a lot about thanks entirely to Mythbusters. And there weren't any reported explosions, but students did get to play with balls and ramps, so I think this qualifies as really good science.

Win Friends spent an hour on video resumes and I could actually see that helping you get a job in this town. Barney's video was shown as inspiration for everyone else to work on their own.

Studio Art celebrated the season with paper crafts, which basically means lots and lots of paper snowflakes.

Tyler Durden had office hours, only to get a visit from Anakin, who had to rag on him about last weekend.

Jono played Farmville at the library. Unfortunately, there were no pigs. Fortunately, that means no pigs were killed in the game.

And finally, the newspaper had their last meeting of the semester.

Shifting over to Dorms...

Leda had food, a Space Battles special, and a visit from Jennifer on the fifth floor. Dinah had to explain the last couple days to Jak with three letters. Jack Priest was normal, which Kate and Emma both stopped in to check on. Jack and Dinah just bonded over the weirdness, really.

Claire was unhappy, and she shared that unhappiness with Dinah. Really, Sam got off easy in comparison. Kate thought back on her weird week, while Leto stopped by to talk. Hannibal got dance lessons from Angela, Sam answered a voicemail, and Hayley stopped by to talk to a sulky Elle.

Quick night, time for Town already.

Jenny checked out the new shoe shipment at Pixie Dust, Hurley opened up the flower shop, Mary had a teal reindeer encounter at The Arms, Arya decorated at Coyote Medicine, Damon was a grouch at Caritas, and Mina was also on Facebook at the clinic.

Cable had his hands full with papers and children at Wellspring Arms, where Price got a job. Triela stopped in and got some warnings about the range before Karla showed up to practice with her.

Dani was dealing with the kind of cleaning that comes with raising horses at the Gig only to find an old acquaintance named Kris asleep in a stall. Dite took a nap at her Decadent Delights until Max came in for some help.

Support Services met at the Perk and they discussed how to save people from themselves. And they also ate. Morgana checked in on Merlin via Arthur, Claire apologized to Dinah, and some of people wanted to talk to the leaders of the group. Merlin discussed his week with Morgana and said hi to Francine, and Dinah gave Francine some thanks.

And finally, over at the House of Getting Rid of Smoke, Biff burned latkes in honor of Hanukkah. Barney focused on the hat while I was more concerned with the smoke.

And that's it. Enjoy your night, Fandom.
