Fandom Radio, Tuesday, Cinco de Mayo 2009
HOLA, FANDOM! This is Emmett Cullen bringing you the news on this lovely Cinco de Mayo. I hope you all are getting drunk. I'm not. I'm responsible and being sober while on air unlike some people.
...That wasn't really towards anybody. I just assume someone goes on air drunk. I'll be disappointed if they don't.
School
Nothing because we are on vacation! I'll have more here to report next time. Crap.
Dorminess
Dinah was in the gym warming up with weights while waiting for Tony. When he shows up she teaches him some of the basics of unarmed fighting. Awesome. Arthur was telling the wee marachi bands that the group of people that usually meet back there aren't meeting this week and are meeting next week at the Rocky Bits. Which is a name that sounds totally [feedback]ing dirty. Has anyone else noticed this? The word bits always sounds dirty to me, I don't know why. Anyways, Leto didn't get the memo apparently and boggled at the marachi bands there. The emoiest kid in all the land, also known as Ender, was emo'ing on the roof. Glad to have you back emo'ing on my day, dude. I've missed this. Ben shows up for fresh air and--HEY. Listen up, emo kid, you're totally emo. Don't be sassing me. Kids these days have no respect for their elders. Anyways, Froggy Robin was up there playing his guitar and couldn't remember if he met Ben or not. They had.
And now we get to the depressing portion of the evening. Depressing for other people because they have people leaving, depressing for me because I have to report it.
First up, Jeff was prepping to leave and Turtle came in to say goodbye and to talk about being friends even though they broke up. Awww. Nana came in to pounce on Jeff, Dor following right after her. Gavin was also leaving today. John came by to give him a romantic and probably dance-filled goodbye. Tahiri complained about everyone leaving at once and Gavin promised he'd come back at Homecoming. Jaina teased Gavin about gremlin bites and they talked about John. Surprised there wasn't a cat fight. Ben and his sombrero were very clingy at Gavin. Awww.
Chris is also headed out today. Savannah was sad and Chris reminded her that they won't even need phones to get in touch with her thanks to the witch/whitelighter thing. I don't know what thing they're talking about but whatever. Sam of the Winchester persuasion asked Chris how he felt about entering the real world. I'll assume it's lame. Summer said she was going to miss Chris too but she's moving to be with him so...yeah. I guess she won't miss him for long. Cal was writing a note for Ears before leaving. He's not gone for good though, apparently. Worf stopped by to say goodbye for now. Dinah asked for postcards from the past and Amber warned Cal against sunburn. Good call. I've heard it's a bitch. Annnnd Warren left too. Aw.
Townieness
Lindsay was talking to her dog and Tyler points out the obvious to her. Mr. Deadpool got a phone call and left the island. COME BACK. I've got Land of the Lost dvds and no one to watch them with now. At some point when she wasn't talking to animals, Lindsay had coffee at the Perk. Ronon told her he was heading out. What the hell is with everybody leaving?
People were at their jobs even though they're on vacation. Which is lame. Jack was asleep at the Photo Hut, Hinata was at the Book Haven, Lion-o was watching the wee mariachi bands at the Fina and Momoko was sad to hear he was leaving. And there was a banana incident at the Arms. Not dirty. Marshall was drinking girly drinks at Caritas and Tully came in to celebrate the holiday.
Murdock was looking at tools at the lighthouse. Not dirty. Amber talked about how goodbyes are hard to Murdock and she meets Tully. Tully and Murdock talk about how they want the mariachi bands to go away. Uh...why would you want that? They've been keeping me entertained all day. Ino was flowering up her sombrero at the Covent Garden Flowers and Romeo came to complain about everyone leaving. Prince Edward was singing along at Luke's. Dinah and Edward talked about the start of classes and she was there to have lunch with Leto. Loki was dealing with paperwork at the MHA when Daisy herds in a mariachi band through the lobby and explained why she didn't arrest them. Um, because they're awesome? Duh. Biff is very proud of his sombrero and shows it to Loki. Aww. I didn't get a sombrero. Lame.
Okay, I guess that's it for me, Fandom. I guess I'll go back and--what the hell is that noise?
*dragging noise*
*thunk!*
*excited squeaking*
WHAT IN THE NAME OF ZEFRON IS THAT?! IS THAT A PINATA? FOR ME? Aww, you guys are awesome. I was wondering why half of you looked like you had hair gel put in. It was just paper mache glue! Let's go take it outside and beat the hell out of it!
*more excited squeaking*
Hell yes! Night, Fandom!
