Fandom Radio :: Friday, December 19.
Good evening, fellow Fandomites! I hope you all did well on your exams; congratulations for making it through another semester here at Fandom High! The holidays are setting in and we have the excitement of a new semester ahead of us, but, for right now, let's just get to the news of today!
Yeah, you like that segue.
SCHOOL
Chemistry class had, of course, its final. Afterwards, Dean asked Tyler about the Mister Stark Pony with him; Rikku and Ino, meanwhile, got orange and purple, respectively, bath bombs for being TAs, which is just too cool. But it is Tyler, so there you have it.
We had a final in awful class, too, where we rappeled off a building, which is insane. However, it was the last time we had to wear those uniforms, and I do mean the last.
*cough*
*coughcoughcough*
Ahem. Excuse me. Anyway, Ino wanted to show off and asked if she could rappel without the equipment and Francine was much saner by asking if we could just hop on something less crazy.
Doctor Suresh did some after-semester filing, and Miss Garrett was grading finals. Mister Winchester, though, was cleaning out his office, awww, but Ben usurped one last moment of teacher responsibility from him to ask about an assignment from some teacher back home. Double school duty. Harsh, man. The office had a very quiet day, which makes me wonder if the moose was out, and Buffy did her thing at the library.
DORMS
Dean cleared out his room so that Karal and his cat could perform a meditation ritual or something, I'm not sure, and Naomi was all thoughtful in her room. Amber skipped any thinking and went straight to sleeping all day, which I guess is acceptable since it's the end of the semester. Rikku and Reno chased some finals stress with cuddling and Sokka...talked to his chinchilla.
I helped set up a special celebratory snack offering in the Lobby on behalf of your amazing Student Council, to give everyone a big thumbs up and free doughnuts on another semester down! It was quiet, but it was still nice chatting with Peter and Robin. Peyton, meanwhile, opted for more private nachos in the third floor common room.
TOWN
Mister Loki had a bout of a bad daydream, or something, while watching some Frosty on TV, which hopefully cleared up before he went to have his date over at Detective Constable Day's.
Chad was thoughtful over at Groovy Tunes, and Rosie was out working on her forge over at the Gig, where Mister Minsc came by to see if she could straighten out his sword.
...I'm not even going to ask why the squirrels are giggling at that. Anyway, Miss Dröttningu was absolutely on time for her shift at Coyote Medicine. Hurley was in a great mood at Covent Garden Flowers, which I hear makes them grow better. Or something. Mister Ryan was finishing up plans for a party over at MCA, where Ms. Harker got an apartment and the required Welcome to Fandom warnings. Dor dealt with dorky comics at Android's Dungeon and Agnes was distracted by crystal balls at the Magic Box. Over at Book Haven, Liir was doing the logical thing and, well, reading. Ino came by to be all sisterly and make some plans for the break.
Mary watched TV at the Arms Hotel, and Kaylee was, as usual, busy with projects over at Stark Industries; Ben stopped in to see her before heading home. Then, Detective Kowalski was not being very policeman-like, giving Officer Ralph death threats. Sheriff Cooper rightly scolded him, though.
Ms. Harker met with Miss Doctor Jones at the Perk to see about a job. Welcome to the clinic staff, Ms. Harker! Mister Mars also introduced himself to the newcomer with the coffee. Miss Bennet met Ms. Harker, too, and they were both, quote, 'very British,' which means they drank a lot of tea, I think. And said 'rubbish' a lot. That's what it means around my room, anyway. Ella was zoning out over at Luke's Diner, where Viki asked about the soup after taking a break from being sleepy at Strokes of Genius.
Everyone at the Boards had their second performance of Much Concern Over Nothing, and I'm sure they had a very good performance. Marysilently encouraged his cast from backstage. Miss York and Sheriff Cooper and Mister Mars were there, too. Mister Tennant had notes for the cast before they all hung out afterwards, like Hoshi and Amber who talked about their performances and made plans to go out tomorrow, awww, and talk about booooooys.
Over at Caritas, Mister Bindo let Mister Tino have a holiday spree! Whee! Give me a few days, and I'll be sick of them, too, Mister Bindo, don't worry.
There's the news for today! Happy holidays, everyone! Good night and have a pleasant tomorrow!
