likethegun: (i'm looking at something with dean)

Fandom Radio, Monday, June 23

Dean: Good evening Fandom. It's Dean and Sammy Winchester -- who is neither dead nor evil -- bringing you all the news that is fit for squirrels.

Sam: If people besides you and Dad start calling me Sammy, I'm blaming you.

Dean: Just tell them we're the only ones allowed to call you that.

Sam: Of course, if you wanted to stop too, I wouldn't mind.

Dean: Nope.

Sam: That's it? Just nope?

Dean: Yep.

Sam: You're really impossible sometimes, you know that?

School which is almost done but not quite

Sam: It's the final week of workshops, but since it's summer, that doesn't exactly mean there's finals. Epicurist, Gourmet, Foodie had a traditional English breakfast provided by Professor Bond. Then everyone else introduced a dish from their homeland, and there was a bit of a feast.

Dean: I so need to take that class.

Sam: I don't think it counts as a class if you enjoy yourself as much as you would. After class, Jenny scolded Professor Bond for not terrorizing the students with black pudding, because terrorizing is exactly what some people need after this weekend.

Arts and Crafts met on the front lawn, and spent their last class having an awesome paint fight. How to Get Into College covered the topic of "What will you be spending most of your time in college doing?" by eating junk food and playing video games. A fine end to a great workshop, in my totally unbiased opinion.

Basic Auto Mechanics actually had a kind of review as they tuned up cars using everything they learned in class. And Fighting 101 reviewed fighting techniques by playing fighty video games. Eve and Gwynn checked up on each other after the weekend, and after class, Professor Rogers stopped by to thank Deadpool for helping him over the weekend, Ino brought him food one last time, and John brought him cookies. Dean, I think your calling might be fighting instructor here at the school.

Dean: Doesn't sound like it sucks.

Sam: You'll have to keep fighting and training to balance out all the baked goods, but I don't think that would be a problem for you. Finally, Tyler spent his office hours working on his final. I'm thinking it probably won't involve video games, but you never know.

Dean: It could. Video games about blowing things up.

Dorms that managed to make it through the weekend unharmed

Dean: In the dorms, a sarong-clad Gladys was sewing and singing, Gwynn packed to visit her boyfriend, and Andros prepared to go home.

Inara meditated and Gavin came by with a stuffed animal. Awww. Jaina stopped by and caught Inara up on what happened when she was kidnapped.

Jen checked on her little brother Ned and they talked about the weekend and Dick-who-is-no-longer-a-rock. Which wow, is a helluva long nickname.

Romeo unpacked and Reno came by for a discussion about the weekend, heaven, hell and home. The three H's, we call that.

Ino told Romeo people suck and they discussed the weekend and guns. The one G, that would be.

Amber is visited by Cal and they talk about the weekend, decor and music. I'll leave it up to the audience to figure out what initials that would be.

Sam: Initials for things you don't usually talk about. At least, not decor.

Dean: There's a lot of other more important things to talk about. Amber also had breakfast made for her by Liir. No word on what they discussed.

Adam stopped by Gwynn's room to check on her.

Adah walked back from the clinic and Lee was stalkery watching her.

And in the weirdness that is reporting on ourselves, Sammy and I hung out at the Winchester house -- the one in Fandom, not the one in California -- where we totally weren't hiding out.

Sam: Nope, not hiding at all. It was too warm to be outside, really.

Dean: Totally. Peter Petrelli stopped by to check on Sammy and everyone's heroine -- and my girlfriend -- Meg stopped by and talked with my brother. She and I also got our kissing on. Go ahead, be jealous.

Sam: I assume that was directed to everyone but me?

Dean: You can be jealous of me too if you want. Sammy and I have a heart to heart that is no one's business but ours.

Sam: Very wisely put.

Dean: I've got a way with words. Dawn requested food from both me and Sammy and there was also some talking about the weekend and pickles. I'll let you listeners decide who talked about what.

Sam: That's not all we talked about. Stupid squirrels.

Dean: Do you really want to share all the details of your private conversation with your girlfriend?

Sam: ...no, not really.

Dean: Then the squirrels aren't so stupid and neither's your big brother. In the salle, this morning, Ella took up a sword to practice and talked and sparred with Lion-o.

Savannah was up on the roof getting her brood on. She told Anders about Johnny tying her up -- kinky! -- to keep her out of trouble, and told Mac that boys are stupid. She also told Eve and Summer about her mad on for Johnny. Johnny, buddy? Might want to stay away from the roof. Sounds like it's a huge anti-Johnny black hole at the moment.

And a late note... *starts laughing* Apparently Dawn dragged John Sheppard into the third floor girls bathroom for a drunken haircut. Looks like you lucked out spending the night with me Sammy. That could've been you.

Sam: A drunken...oh dear God, let's get through the rest of this so I can find her.

Town that also miraculously remained standing all weekend

Sam: Over at her apartment, Aly woke up Sheriff Mustang and checked on his injuries. Savannah came by to see Sean, and asked if she could stay with him because she had a fight with Johnny.

Alex opened the Magic Box while Seregil took care of Book Haven

Charlotte took Dale to the Perk for some caffeine - hopefully only for her since, as she explained to Professor Mizrahi and Mary, Dale is a bunny. Isabel came in for some tea, and talked to Johnny about his relationship with Savannah, and Peter about his daring heroics over the weekend.

Sokka celebrated the demise of ex-Vice Principal Hades by playing Cuban Pete really loudly at Turtle and Canary. He ended up having to explain how much Hades hated the song to G'Kar. Lacey did some post-weekend cleanup at Luke's, while the park renovation continued right on schedule. Turtle worked in the morning, and was joined by Hoshi in the afternoon. Deadpool came by to bring Constable Fraser some cookies, and they got into an argument over who was more girly. I think this is what happens when people don't get enough rest after bad weekends.

Dean: Yeah. But at least there was cookies.

Sam: You can forgive all insanity if there's baked goods, can't you?

Dean: Pretty much, yeah.

Sam: Sometimes you're difficult, and sometimes you make things so unbelievably easy. Chad opened Groovy Tunes, and got a phone call while he was there. The Doctor took a walk in the park. Mary came back from her trip in time to take over at the front desk of the hotel, and this was a good weekend to be gone, I'll give her that.

Cable was at Wellspring Arms, as usual. Kurogane came by to ask what kind of costs there were for using the meditation room, and Deadpool stopped in to brag about saving people, and to tell Cable that Worf is a cat. At least no one's a strange animal right now...I hope I haven't jinxed anyone by saying that.

Unfortunately, the clinic wasn't nearly as quiet as usual. Millie took care of things in the morning. Professor Rogers checked himself out, Ned asked if he could go see Lois, as did Jaina, while John Sheppard asked the same about Andrew.

Lana and Brooke visited Lucas, Ned and Jaina visited Lois, and Lois, if you're listening? I'm sorry I didn't check up on you too. I clearly fail at big brothering. Lee visited Adah, and John Sheppard and Seregil visited Andrew.

Katara had the evening shift, which was full of people trying to get out. Adah got herself released and Lois walked off the rest of her injuries and got the green light to go too. Teyla visited Lucas--

*frantic chittering*

Whoa, calm down, I think they just talked. Relax that squirrel rage already, geez. As I was saying, Teyla visited Lucas, who finally woke up, and Harriet stopped by to talk to Andrew.

Dean: Busy place there today.

Sam: Hopefully it won't be that busy again for a very long time. Jolee was tending bar at Caritas tonight. Dawn and John Sheppard both got their drinking on, which explains why I have a potentially inebriated girlfriend waiting for me. Stay away from anything sharp, Dawn!

Dean: Too late if she's been cutting hair.

Sam: She can get away from the sharp things before she cuts her own hair, I hope. Johnny drank too, and Eve suggested he could drown himself in his drink. Someone's angry about the fight with Savannah, I think. Lana and John congratulated each other on neither dying nor killing anyone this weekend, and she celebrated that fact with Johnny as well.

Tony Stark stayed in the lounge, watching the students drinking, and got hit on by Lana.

And, late this evening, Reno and Professor Murdock met up on the causeway to go flying.

Dean: And that, as they say, is that.

Sam: The end of the notes, not the end of Reno and Professor Murdock, who I'm sure are flying very safely. I think I need to go find Dawn.

Dean: Well yeah. And now you should go corral your girlfriend before she gives any more haircuts.

Sam: Very, very good idea. Good night, Fandom!
