Fandom Radio :: Friday, June 20th.

Good Evening, Fellow Fandomites! You're listening to WTFH Radio, and I'm Turtle Wexler, bringing you all of Friday's news as quickly as I can because the longer I stay here, the more likely it is that one of those ghosts will get me, so, yeah. Here's your news, and then I'm running back to the dorms like the wind.

GHOUL SCHOOL?

In office hours today, we have Mister Bond going through some cookbooks and Mister Petrelli was also available for his. And that was just about it. Except that it was really cold in the office office. The moose is probably homesick.

(HOPEFULLY GHOST-FREE) DORMS!

In the gym this morning, Jaina's working out. If the ghosts didn't freak me out so bad, I'd make an exorsizing joke here. Adam had the same idea; he introduces himself to Jaina and tries to explain why he's been a lazy butt.

Also, I now discover that that ungodly racket I heard early this morning was actually Ino in the fifth floor common room thinking that early morning is a good time to play really loud music. For the record? It isn't. Especially when you can hear it three floors down. Amber, being mostly smart and reasonable, agrees with me on this, and yells at Ino to keep it down, but then adds to the noise by getting in an argument with Ino about some guy. Hello, drama.

And then Lana has a good idea in staying in and watching DVDs in the third floor common room tonight. Hopefully not ghost movies, ohmigod.

Jamie woke up as a chihuahu---ahahahahaha! Oh my God, Rikku, Temari? I think the three of us might need to get together. There's still a revenge to plot, isn't there? I mean, maybe once you get over your first my-significant-other-is-an-animal moment, Temari. Savannah is all tied up in a book -- why is that emphasized? -- and she reads some of its...colorful prose to Johnny...colorful? What's that mean? Why are you squirrels snickering? River woke up as a sheep and ate her pillow and Cal plays with little soap animals...ohhhh, kay, and you people claim Jeff is weird? Anyway, Amber stopped by to recover a little in Cal's room and Isabel offered to salt his room as a ghost-preventative measure. Oh! Isabel! If you hear this, you have permission to do my room, too! And Jeff's, since that might be my room soon, as well! Anyway Bad Alice (I'm Good Alice, by the way) provides commentary on Cal's weird soap fetish. Is commentary really nece--

Okay, yes, I just realized that this is commentary on it, too, so we're just going to move along now.

GHOST TOWN! :O

Over at Our Lady of Fandom Church, there's a really loud vulture and the usual cat. Eve was in a good mood at the York Gallery, so I assume she didn't see what I saw on the way here tonight, and my awesome roommate Ella ate alllllll the bread pudding at Luke's Diner; I don't know what bread pudding is, but it kind of sounds gross. The Captain came in and was emo about class into his coffee. Aww... Lucas caffienes it up and writes at the Perk, where a ghost does its creepy ghost zapping-taking over-making you cold thing. Even talking about it makes me shiver. Gladys came by to point out that fainting is bad, but she does at least take him to the clinic for his troubles. Over at the Book Haven, Liir has tea and cookies, but no ghosties, which is good. During Rikku's shift at the Wellspring Arms and Meditation Center, Worf turned into a kitty. I have to wonder if the increase in animal transformations is directly related to the ghosts. Someone should research it when everyone gets together in the library to research things like this when they happen. Rikku clarifies to John that this Worf-kitten-thing did not happen because she was making out with Worf, which is good to know, and then they talk about class, but, really, the Worf-Kitten-Making-Out thing is MUCH more interesting. Ino just thinks that kitty!Worf is adorable. I have a feeling there will be a very disgruntled Worf about town in not too long. Lizard!Jack decided he wouldn't play with kitty!Worf.

Good thinking. Almost as good thinking as Romeo and Dojima and Marygetting the crap out of dodge this weekend. Miss Lieutenant Kerrigan is having a bad morning, and I'm talking bad even for her, since she's all huddled up and eeeeeek. Meanwhile, I wonder if Miss Lehane is planning on skipping out of town, too, as she makes a few phone calls that might suggest as much.

Jenny with the N-Y is reading a magazine at Pixie Dust; you can see just how quality the service is there, really. *AHEM* And Jen without the N-Y is understandably weirded out at Pizza Planet and Little Sis Kaylee keeps busy with some tinkering at Stark Industries. So productive! Keep it up, Kaylee! And, at the Arms Hotel, River's making a zoo of animal towels and she's just a bit more excited about the ghosts than Mary is.

Yeah. Ghosts. If you haven't noticed or haven't figured it out yet? There are ghosts in town. Yeah. Ghosts, and they're super freaky. And I'm glad I avoided them, because, apparently, they'll do weird things to you if you get too close. Just as Amber, G'Kar, Peter, Dean Jones, Tyler, Miss Mizrahi, Jaina, Gladys, and Miss mal Doran all do! Yeesh, people, stay away from them! And now that I've said that, I'm worried about getting back to the dorms.

I plan to run so fast that I'll beat even that stupid jerkface Doug Hoo's record, oh my God.

There's a monster mash at Caritas, and the zombies won over the werewolves and mummies and, okay, that's great and all, but how about you zombies go and take care of the ghosts now? HM?

Apparently, Mister Igor is having problems with hair at the clinic during the day. Do you need a prescription for Rogaine? And Katara is keeping the clinic extra stocked in the evening, although I don't know what for. They're already dead; it's a bit too late for them now, don't you think? Anyway, Gladys brought in the aforementionedly picked up Lucas, and I really hope he's okay.

And that I'm able to run fast enough that it's not me she brings in next.

Okay. Totally read to do this. Run like the wind. I'll just...*slight pause, a bit of a grunt* stretch here a bit. And you squirrels watch and make sure the coast is clear. Okay? Okay. Ready. Set...
