Fandom Radio, Saturday, September 14th

Ugh, I'm never going to get used to these Saturdays, I don't think. Though I suppose I should be thankful. Yesterday was Friday the thirteenth and I wasn't attacked when I climbed out of bed that morning. And today, whatever it is that's causing those decidedly masculine girly screams through town hasn't touched me.

*Chittering*

Hm? Oh, it's that again? ... Heh. Well, provided people provide their own underthings, if transformed ladies are especially desperate for something to wear that fits them, they're welcome to peruse the costume racks at the Boards. Most of what's in there is more or less normal clothing. My apologies if you had your hearts set on astronaut or chicken costumes, though. I burned those back in the spring.

And with that out of the way, on with the notes. At the School, Criminal Justice all... apparently crowded into the clown car of justice, since they all managed to go for a ride in a police car at once. Cultural Exploration went to Kenya, to go for a game drive at the Maasai Mara Reserve. Nobody was eaten by lions, so far as I can tell. Space with an exclamation point spoke about the Sol system, Sol being the one we're in right now, and about what space programs they're currently familiar with. Really, Kaidan should know by now that asking that question around here only leads to headaches. He had his students choose partners for a presentation next week. The Ice King told his How to Steal a Princess class that it's possible to woo a princess with music. I have yet to see evidence to the contrary, personally, though I imagine his drum-banging display yesterday might've done the trick. Students picked instruments for a jam session, though Raven beat Cade to the triangle and ended up steering him toward the xylophone.

... Sounds like some quite the session.

Billy's library shift involved dating books making their way to the desk, and I need to ask, were the books about dating, or going on dates? A mystery for the ages. In any case, after classes, Jack Nought programmed a Danger Shop battle training session for Cade, who had to ask if music is really as effective as the Ice King says before they compared weapons.

Over at the Dorms, Danny was having a - and I quote - 'dancing and inventing' party in his room. It involved loud music, Cecil stopping by to say hello, and Alana joining in on the dancing while they attempted to converse over the music. I can only imagine just how much inventing actually took place.

On, now, to the last page of notes. Yesterday was inventory day during Alec's shift at Freedom Arms. Sparkle was actually doing what it is he's being paid for over at Dite's when Kenzi stopped by, looking for something to decorate her new place with - in a sex shop, Kenzi? Were you hoping they had more giant metal roosters in the back room? - and to talk to Sparkle about a possible housewarming party she's hoping to throw. Priestly was doing accounting homework over at Luke's, and at the Devil's Nest, Allie laid claim to Tiny's Cosmo magazine before he could do the relationship test.

Really, I'm astounded that nobody turned into newts yesterday. Probably to lull everyone into a false sense of security before what it's pulled this weekend, hm? Not to worry, ladies. You'll probably be back to normal by, oh, Monday. The island has made it run longer than that before, if I'm remembering correctly, so don't quote me on that.

And on that note, now that I'm through with the notes, I'll be heading off to the Boards to pull the men's clothing to the front of the costume racks. Any ladies who aren't quite the right shape today are welcome to stop by and pick a few things to wear until the weekend is through.
