Fandom Radio, Tuesday, November 22nd
Hey, y'all! Hope everyone's having an awesome fantastic amazing week like I am! Miley Ray here, bringing you the news of yesterday! Let's get started, 'kay?
School first? Awesome. Thanks, squirrels!
In Basic Strategy, they discussed how it's important to "know your enemy." That's… super weird, but I guess the teacher knows what he's doing, 'cause he's a teacher and teachers totally always know what they're doing, right? Totally! Then they talked about strategies, which is, like, super important to have a strategy, because if you don't you'll never get anywhere, and James suggested this strategy of, like, talking to survivors, which I just think is great. O.M.G. Like, totally great. And also you could talk to Mr. Lannister or TA Kate. Why doesn’t anyone talk to them ever? They sound like nice people! You guys should totally talk to them next week. I'm serious.
In Cultural Understanding, students had to perform if they didn't already audition for the showcase at the Boards. OMG. Did you guys know I'm IN that? Yeah. I know, right? It's going to be AWESOME. Totally awesome. Everyone should go. Seriously. O.M.G. They listened to the instructions and performed, and also you could talk to the teachers, and seriously, you guys, I bet they're lonely! Talk to them next week or something!
Aesthetics of Word I Can't Say had, um, explosions? Which, okay, would be totally weird in class, but in, like, Indiana Joannie? It's totally cool. You guys should totally all go see that movie, B.T.W. It's, like, way my favorite ever. Hannah totally rocks in it. Oh, so yeah, people could also avoid the explosions if they wanted, or talk to Mr. Bond or Bobby.
In Creative Arts, we watched a movie that, um, had some pottery in it? But it wasn't, like, way about pottery. Actually I was kind of confused. Could someone explain it to me? Thanks! And also we could talk to Cute Tony or Mr. Rogers. Yay!
In the library, William and Scully were doing research. Ooh, on what? Like, do y'all have a project coming up? Good luck! Projects are intense.
And in the office, Ida was missing her paperwork. Oh no! I hope you find it, Ida! Good luck! Someone go help Ida with her paperwork, you guys! Seriously!
Okay, so how's about now we move on to the dorms, cool? I totally love the dorms. I live there and everything. And, okay, it's not, like, totally prime real estate, 'cause of everything with this being an island and not, like, LA, but they're okay! I like the closet. Even though it is way nothing like my closet at home. O.M.G.
So in the morning, Girl Sam was talking in her sleep about hot stuff. Ooh, hot sauce? I totally love hot sauce. Like, on eggs! Oh, but she was also saying someone should pass the gravy, which is, like, way not appropriate on eggs. That'd be ick. Anyway, then a frog fell off her desk, except it wasn't a frog, it was Freddie, who was –
*giggling*
Um! Anyway, Sam threw a pillow at him and then they went online! And that was all! And he wasn't anything!
Also in the morning, Caroline was putting up posters for my birthday party! Yeah! Did you guys hear? It's totally my birthday tomorrow! And there's gonna be a party! GET EXCITED, O.M.G. Seriously. There's, like, nothing else going on that you would have to do instead, right? Seriously. Best party ever.
And apparently Ender was putting up some other posters, and checking them? I totally haven't seen any others. Wait, are those the ones about the missing people? What are those about? Seriously. And then Karla came over and was all, "O.M.G., like, Priestly's missing," and showed him a picture, and… that sounds kinda serious. I hope everything's okay, y'all!
Immature Jack was up in his room, and I guess his phone wasn't working, 'cause he was running tests on it with his computer. And Weird Topher came by and – talked to the computer. No, seriously. No, SERIOUSLY. Dude, what is UP with you? I think you seriously might need help. Then Claudia came by and checked on his phone, but eventually figured out that the problem was that Jack was trying to call disconnected numbers. Ugh. Seriously, Jack? Come on. And then Ben came by and Jack decided he was going to leave and Ben told him to keep in touch. Eh.
Seifer went up to check on Rinoa in her room. She told him to come in and they talked about these missing people I keep hearing about, and called her dad, and then Seifer told her to shower. Classy. Then Karla saw Seifer and talked about missing people some more, and so did Squall. And then Rinoa wanted a hug from Squall and decided to go, um, hurt things. Um. Good luck?
In her room, Claudia was calling a warehouse to see if things could, um, erase people? Seriously? Uh, okay. You guys, I am so not getting what is going on here. And then Scully came by and they talked about these missing people and SERIOUSLY, WHAT IS GOING ON?
And finally Rock Band Warren was throwing treats at a puppy in his room, but then the puppy turned into… his teacher, Hercules. Um. That's gotta be awkward.
So how's about we do town, okay? I hear town's awesome. Seriously. I hear good things. And I go into town every once in a while and it's fun! Ooh, why do the squirrels look all excited?
…oh. You guys are mean. Um, at that store that Karla works at, Karla came in and, um, cleaned. Wesley came by to ask her if she knew what was going on with people being missing, and she talked about a legend she knows from back home. And then she got, like, a really upsetting phone call. Aww! I'm sorry!
And then – seriously, you guys?
*cackle-chittering*
So at Stark Industries, Ender was there and going over emails. Tara came by and talked about how her friend Kennedy disappeared and learned that, um, that Ben and Ender are, um, that they're, like, totally, um, dating? And then they made plans to do research on Friday. Probably not about Ben and Ender's thing. Something else, I guess. And then of course Ben came by and he brought food and told Ender to eat it and then they talked about what Tara said and Ben was all, "you tackle the research, I'll beat things up." Which sounds super weird. What are y'all even researching? Seriously.
So at the Boards, that awesome fantastic cast list for the winter showcase went up. Super exciting! Billy came by – ooh, hey, Billy! – and was like, "I wanna help with the show," and Troy hired him as a stage manager! Cool! See you there, Billy! And Elphaba stopped by and was all, like, totally surprised that Hank could play. I bet he's awesome! Don't judge!
At Fandom Fish 'n' Bait, which I totally need to try, like, STAT, Jon's turtle was wandering around eating strawberries and he – Jon, not the turtle – kept calling disconnected numbers. Hello, don't you save people's numbers in your phone? That way you don't dial the wrong one! And then he got a phone call from someone who I guess wasn't disconnected and they talked about people disappearing. Um?
At the Trooper Station, Audrey was trying to map out all the disappearances. Um, have there really been a lot? You GUYS!
At the Devil's Nest, Joan was going over accounts and doing Eric's dry-cleaning. See, Jono? I TOLD you you can get an assistant on this island. Then at night, Jack was trying to get free food for the holidays – um, okay – and Eric was in the VIP room and talked to Jaina about how Portalocity stinks and there's something called were-bats.
Um, yeah, I'm gonna be traveling by plane from now on…
In the clinic, Ronan was doing inventory, and Raven came in and asked to be examined. It's important to take care of yourself!
At the art gallery, Myria LeJean was not too into the art – hel-lo, then what are you doing at an art gallery? – and Zayne came by to welcome her to the island. That was nice of him!
And finally at Caritas, Jake was drinking. Chocolate milk, right?
Then at the end of the day, Ronan got home from the clinic and was cooking for a lot of people? Yum!
And Immature Jack was trying to go home, I guess, but the Causeway didn't seem to agree. Probably because he insulted its favorite singer. Hmph.
Okay, that's all the news for the day, guys! See you tomorrow at my birth—
