I'm really beginning to dislike you squirrels, you know that? I could be off doing way more enjoyable things right now but, no, I'm spending the wee hours of the first day of the year with you. You guys so owe me.

For those of you that don't know me, I'm Luke Castellan and I'll be giving you your news tonight. And there's a lot of it. Now I hate the squirrels even more for not getting me a partner.

Let's get this over with so I can get back to the dorms, okay?



Not the NYE party

Warren was studying in his room and got a visit from Raven to talk about the party tonight and something about a virgin night. What the hell is a virgin night? Is it what it sounds like? Do I even want to know? No, I don't want to know. Leda was in the garage working on her bike and Ariel came to check it out. Angela was getting ready for the party tonight and Peyton helped her out with that and talked about how the guys would be flocking to them. Well that's presumptuous of you.

Bod worked his first shift at Luke's, the Diner, and Ariel came by to see how he was doing. Mary was talking to Gunther at the Arms and Tinowas working at Caritas.

Okay, now onto this freaking party.

New Year's Eve Party

So for the one person who wasn't there--Nico--there was a party in the park to celebrate New Year's Eve. Kate talked about her breakup with Bod with both Ariel and Jack. Tough break, Kate, sorry. Arthur and Merlin were doing something this squirrel calls "bickering-flirty". Which I'm very familiar with, I think. Romeo complained about the cold to Dojima. See, I wasn't the only person that was cold. Ariel flirted with Bod and Alex and Jack talked about new year resolutions.

Alexander talked Christmas break stuff with both Maladicta and Scully. Chuck Bass talked to Jaina about scandalous goings on at his home while Chuck Bartowski talked to Ellie about when to say Happy New Year. I say you have until the third to say it without it getting old. Ariel talked to Ellie about how she spent her holidays and she accused Squall of being an impostor because he smiled at her.Blackagar and Quinn snarked at each other while Cable, Deadpool and Jan were adorable. Aww.

Angela and Kate discussed why they aren't in a festive mood right now, and Tahiri and Ben talk about how Fandom is better than Hoth. Rilla and Ariel discuss those annoying resolution things, while Ariel talked to Chuck Bartowski about how skating was an awesome and bad idea. Skating's not all that bad. Raven and Jono are apparently adorable with emphatic kisses but it just seems creepy to me. Dinah complimented Raven on her dress and Reno was pounced on by Dojima and Rikku.

There was some pretty good food for people to eat, and the smart people hung out there. Effy paid Alex a compliment but he just got pissy at her. Wow. John's drunk and has a flirty and sort of awkward conversation with Jaina. Anakin got into a snowball fight with Jan Summers and by all accounts it was adorable. Aww. But he got teased about it by Bel. There were some shadowy corners to lurk in. See, Nico, you could have hung out there! Ariel tried to get Ender to skate but he seemed more interested in teasing Ben about his clothes. Mitchell was hovering around Kate and trying to get her to have a good time.

There's a dance floor and ice skating. I did neither of these things. Too cold. Ariel got Ender out to skate, though he's tentative about it. Squall's not having an easy time out on the ice, but decides to stay out there with Rinoa anyway. Aww. There were bonfires where the cold people like me hung out. Bod and Ender talked about how keeping busy kept your mind off of things like break ups, and me and Percy banter-flirted. See, I told you I was familiar with it. Arthur told Jaina about his weird way of getting to Fandom, and Dinah wished Arthur a happy new year. There was a countdown to the new year where GOB got his snowman stolen by Jack Sparrow and then the evening ended with fireworks.

Oh thank gods, we're done. You're killing me, Fandom. I'm going back to the dorms. Goodnight, and have a happy new year.
