SCHOOL
Looks like we're starting in the library where Henry makes a phone call. Ghanima has a movie day in Terrain and You so all the kids can nap off the scary shit that went down last week. Personally, sleep's never helped me after one of those things, but hitting some golf balls? That'll do it right. Maybe Irulan gave her stepdaughter ideas for next time it happens. 'Cause there's always a next time in this place. Huh, it seems Ziva's Adventure Games skipped the games and went straight for the DVDs, too. Jake took Private Investigating a little further with some discussion post-movie. And seriously, I'm kinda wishing I was still a student when I hear three classes watched movies while Reno's Day After Doomsday class ate pizza. Scully was glad to see Jake and the pizza, I'm betting. Bond was back for Art of Adaptation this week and made the kids do work. If by work we mean play with smartphones. Hey, think they got an app for ordering pizza? What, it's a good idea! Anyhow, the last class of the day featured Aquaman giving his Home Ec students a lecture about how to parent their very own fish. You know, I used to have a fish. Really, I had three...not at once. DORMS
Hey, this is some pretty good stuff you guys keep here. *chittering* Yeah, still don't speak squirrel. I'll guess that was encouragement for me to drink more! But first, let's talk dorms. It seems everyone but Kurt made it back to the dorms last night, meaning today was 'check up on people post-whatever the hell that was this weekend' day. Kennedy checks in on Tara and is rewarded with kissing. Ben stared at the ceiling until Jaina called him up - hey kid, no emoing. Come down to the bar, I'll buy you a drink instead! Emma went text-crazy before getting herself a call from Jack and some serious staring from Beka. Chuck - uh, not Bass - had a fish he talked to, which I will say is the totally normal thing to do. Why have a pet if not to talk to it? Of course, expecting advice might be going a little far. Jonas cleaned Beka's room and woke her up, which could be considered rude. The waking part, I mean. Pigging out was Katniss' method of coping, while Rosalind went the way of the others with a phone call and Bruce...let's say he journaled. It sounds more manly than writing in a diary.

Alex and Effy from my class holed up on the roof and both bitched at each other and cuddled. Sounds like my kind of high school romance. Speaking of my kind, Rilla baked cookies in a CR. Methinks she should bring me some....or not given Peter and Raven and James and Blysse 'risked' their stomachs by showing up. Peter lived to hear about Raven's list of missing persons who I'm sure will show up eventually. Sara made Rilla wet her pants telling her tales of horror from the weekend on the island. I bet Sara's fun at welcome picnics.

TOWN

I agree, phones lie. Dimitri, our resident cowhand, stopped his evil bobcat from eating rats. Smart guy. I'm betting Rose would be pissed later if she'd been seen eating it. And anyone who'd been witness might've been as banged up as Price was at Wellspring. In other job-related news, it seems Alex read at the Magic Box, Irulan closed the hat shop early, Dani opened the Gig, Angua was pissed off at the Trooper Station, Ino got visits from James and Jono at the Clinic, and Jo and Jack did some digging at the Community Center.

Huh. Says here Jaina returned from her trip finally, looking old. Now, are we talking hip-replacement old or capable of renting a car old 'cause there's a big difference. You think on that and I'll keep going. Didi sat outside T&C and got a visit from Jake who was not furry. Glad to hear he shaved. Lacey cleaned up at Luke's before Angua came in to catch up about salads and carrots. Nope, not asking. Karla napped at Dite's shop and earned a souvenier from Leda's trip. Claudia had Jake, Peter, and Scully checking up on her and her knee at Book Haven. Makita didn't seem excited to be at Pixie Dust, but still helped Jono find new clothes.

Chuck was too lazy to put on his contacts before opening Caritas - and this is the part where I remind everyone I have perfect eyesight, hot as I look in glasses. Now, I wouldn't put it past Chuckles to have glasses just for an outfit, but I trust the squirrels in their reporting here. Jaina came for booze and got to talking to Chuck about how she's a cougar now. Sounds like we're talking hip-replacement old after all. A new guy showed at the bar, Wallace Wells and it sounds out he looks just like Chuck. Wallace...I gotta say I can't wait to meet you! Good note to end the broadcast on.
