Fandom Radio, Sunday, February 28th, 2010
Dan: Hello, Fandom. This is Dan Humphrey, back from a great spring break, and ready to report the news to you with my partner, who is currently a phone.
Chuck: I'm on the phone. Don't confuse the people here. They'll think I actually turned into one. I'm still in New York. And, no, it's not to avoid hugs, just in case some people were wondering. Trust me, I'm way more susceptible to getting them where I'm at now. I'm one waffle breakfast away from being part of the Brady Bunch.
Dan: Aww, you saying you'd rather be here with me?
Chuck: If only I could avoid you. I'm watching you play Scrabble in my living room with your insufferable family right now. And, by the way, tell your sister that fantastical is a word and not something Lady Gaga just made up.
Dan: What?
Chuck: Never mind. Get on with the news. I've got a game to win.
Bahamas
Dan: Okay, well, the Bahamas squirrels didn't let vacation stop them from doing their job. People were packing up their crap in the rooms, while others got in some last minute beach time. Ino and Max caught up on the beach and she tells him that this unstructured time thing isn't really for her. That's sad. Hoshi and Hurley grab some food and avoid talking of post-graduation plans. Yeah, ignoring it will prevent it from happening, I'm sure. And then Leia, Jool and Emma all got in last minute massages at the spa before we all came home. Momoko brought up Leda's somber mood and the two of them went swimming and Dinah did the swimming thing as well after waking up. Obviously. You shouldn't swim while you're asleep.
School
Chuck: Back in Fandom, Jono opened up the library proving that he doesn't understand the concept of vacation. He got a visit from Didi and the two of them compared spring break trips. Henry was there, spinning in his chair--yes, I realize I rhymed, Humphrey.
Dan: I didn't say anything.
Chuck: I wasn't talking to you.
Town
Dan: You are so confusing tonight. Anyway. Over at 16 Unicorn Street, Sam left messages for people. He called Claire to tell her that Peter was alive. Then he worried over Peter and told him about his fight with Dean. And Isabel called Sam back.
Chuck: I meant to call you back after I finished this game, Sam, but it's obviously still going on---Jenny! WTF is not a word, I don't care how often people use it these days. ...No, screw you, take it off the board.
Dan: Dude, it's just Scrabble.
Chuck: I'm determined to win this. It's Brooklyn versus the Upper East Side and I must show I am superior.
Dan: By winning a board game.
Chuck: Yes! Will you just read the stupid news?
Dan: Fine. I don't even know why I called you since I'm the one reading all the damn news. Kyle decided meditation was more important than going to work, and Tino was working at Caritas. Fight Club met, with Ghanima and Aly heading the group. Rose caught up with Dimitri and Leto chatted with Aly about how she knew Ghanmia. And then the planned fights were...fought. This week it was Lulu vs Steve, Dimitri vs Beka, Cable vs Kurt, Jaina vs Kennedy and Bruce vs Dinah. And that's it. You were no help, Chuck.
Chuck: Well next time I don't show up just do radio by yourself.
Dan: Lesson learned, thank you. You have anything else to say?
Chuck: Yeah. You suck at Scrabble.
Dan: Again with you being confusing. Not only that, you're wrong. I'm awesome at Scrabble. With that, Fandom, I'm hanging up the phone and then getting out of here. Night!
