Fandom High Radio, Tuesday, July 14th
Good evening, squirrels and citizens of Fandom. I'm Arthur Pendragon, and here's what you've been doing today, hopelessly mangled through a filter of drunken rodents currently playing what they insist is called hopscotch with last night's notes.
If you have any complaints about their reports, I'd suggest stealing the rum.
Moving on...
The office staff washes the moose. That's not a euphemism, despite our best wishes. Debt! class starts with the basics, which is gaining debt. I'm sure the students were quite succesful in their endeavour. Professor Lily is there to judge. Mythbusting considers the merits of rockets made out of candy and soda. Very illuminating. Anemone and Ino serve as TAs - that's sharper, Ino - and Professor Tyler is present to provide.
Film Through The Ages discusses cinema in the early 20th century, right, and make films. Kate apologises for being negligent due to a sudden case of cat. It happens. Anakin introduces Flight Class to speeder bikes. They fly the city and the forest. And then chat, because presumably that's what you do once you've finished flying around a forest on a small metal object. Peter and Jess are the TAs on duty, and Claire begs them for a bike. She'd probably have a fair bit more luck with Master Anakin.
Professor Rick speaks about creating characters, which the students then presumably do. They presented afterwards, and both Professor Rick and TAs Jon and Valentine are present. Photography discusses how to develop film. I thought you made pictures by pressing the button on the phone, not whatever it is they did with a dark room. Professor Veronica, pictures don't look very good in the dark. I've tried.
Professor Gibbs is rushing through his work, trying to make up for a case of the dog. See? It happens. Lord Deadpool is amassing a fortune of... Amazon shipping, and Tyler and Jen both come in to talk about Jen. I see you're popular today, Jen. As a matter of conversation, at least. Lord Cable and his child are also there to consider the books. Professor Rick, finally, receives apologies for missing his class in his office. Due to a case of the cat, once more.
DORMS
Shilo hides in her alcove after a bad case of gremlin. That, too, happens. It'll pass. Francine *pause* ...spends some time in her alcove, where she receives both Katina and my manservant for a decent chat. Katina speaks to Merlin much later on in the day, shortly after he and I went for a ride.
*chittering*
I'd tell you to get your minds out of the gutter if I thought you actually had any.
Anyway, before said ride, the reserves met behind the dorms. People mingled as always, with Ben and Tahiri taking a fresh approach by speaking of dangers from above. Zack calms Fiona - we'll discuss this once Lord Leto ceases to have leaves - and Tahiri and Ben applied themselves to the matter of sizing up the dorms for weaknesses that we have to cover up. Zack and I were there, and Merlin and I discussed cross-reserves cooperation. Then Fiona passes on by to share with the 'class'.
At the campfire, Fiona issulking spending some time with some 's'mores'. She then speaks to Himura about certain matters that would imply she doesn't realise what day today is, but I'm happy to report the squirrels have probably made that abundantly clear by now. Thank you, Fiona, your flattery suits you. She burns marshmallows with Griff, who is immediately tackled by a cheerful Claudia. Val and Fiona discuss the marshmallows. Then Maron makes for a befuddling turn as she insists there's an angel in Fandom. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised at such talk by now. It might even be true. Claudia also assaults the junk food and shares her expertise with Fiona. Diana comes looking for lighter fluid, but Valentine doesn't have any.
Tahiri is using force to create some shapes in the air, an activity on which Tara joins in. Eleanor gains a quick schooling on the matter of the Jedi, while Jaina finds herself discussing her trip home. Welcome back. At the main campfire, Alex smokes, bonds with Eva and lets Shilo in on the campfire. Very noble of you.
TOWNIES
Tully works on the outside of the lighthouse. At the MHA, Loki is productive. He discusses the items turning into humans with Sir Daisy and I'm glad I've managed to miss all that. Lady Wilhelmina has taken a turn for the blonde, and then Castiel and Loki come to the discovery that they are both angels.
...
I'm not sure what to make of that...
Morgan, in less... pressing news, opens the hardware shop. Ino stopped by for the cart she'd ordered, which has yet to be anything but a design. Raven has some... issues with some of the items on sale at Aphrodite's new store in town, but Aphrodite herself comes by to... help her settle in. Layla had sushi on her at Things Reborn, and sold Rachel a record player. Also, JGoB's just sold someone a muffin. Exciting news. Elena and Elle visit Theodoric of York's to bathe, presumably.
Chuck is at the playground, indulging his incredibly girly tendencies. It amuses Valentine, as it should. Chuck, you're a despicable, abusive coward. Eva joined him on the swings and discussed flexibility. Mary and Tully discuss Mary's 'auditing issues' at the hotel, whatever that may be.
Otherwise, Ellie, Hinata, Ino, Fiona, Adam and Jack staffed their respective businesses, while Sir Dale bravely manned the Knight's Station. Caritas is quiet, no doubt thanks to Marshall's taste-testing, beyond Francine paying a visit, and Physician Bones - apt name - considers some of the old cases the clinc has faced in the past.
Finally, there was the theatre, catered for all. Karla and Ender took a moment to discuss the dangers of mentioning certain words near Geoffrey, while Jack and Dinah speculated on whether using different languages would work. Gabrielle and Dinah also spoke of Gabrielle's latest trip home, which featured some man called David who did battle and wrote psalms. Bloody ones, I'd wager. Priestly speculates that Geoffrey didn't enjoy being a beaver, and see, Kate, that's the third case just this week. They rehearse, and Zack and Dinah converse now that they're sure Zack's been made Stage Manager.
...
Ahahahaha.
I'll be here. Ha. Zack. Don't forget to bring your umbrella. *snickers* And the shrubbery. Geoffrey was consulted, but I'm sure he was too distracted by the state of Zack's hair.
Zack, do tell me about your new managing habits. I can use the conversation.
Good night, Fandom. It's been a riot.
