Fandom Radio :: March 29th.

Good evening, fellow Fandomites! Good to have you all tuned in once more to WTFH Radio, listening to your weekly Sunday broadcast by moi! Turtle Wexler! Who is happy to report once more on a Sunday that's nice and quiet and not filled with weird.

Well, not too much weird, anyway. This is Fandom.

SCHOOL STUFF

At the library, Lee was trying to work on a newpaper article, and Dinah came in to look for a book on medieval life to research where Merlin's from. Lee was very helpful, because he is a nice guy, and showed her where to find it, while they chatted, which is very un-library like of them.

DORM DUTY

Dean and Chuck have, and I quote, 'an awkward but hot morning after.'

In his room, Chad made lunch for Dinah, which they mostly tried to keep away from their cats.

Jack and Naomi had an auction date, too, in the latter's room. Jack is impressed, especially with the Naomi's cultural dishes.

And Peyton and Dean have their auction date in Peyton's room...Today's a popular day for those. Either way, they talk about Dean's weird weekend, which probably involved the aforementioned morning after, and not wanting to talk about radio. Which feels weird to be saying on radio.

His Highness had a plate of cheese in the third floor common room, and then had his whine, too, when Merlin showed up! Hahaha, just joking, Merlin. The joke was there; it had to be taken. Merlin mostly just checks to see if Arthur's hiding. Then Dinah comes in for breakfast and offers to get his Highness some, too, which he refuses and then there's awkward TV watching. Hooray.

The Face-Spitter worked out in the gym. Alone. Because he's a Face-Spitter.

Romeo was hanging out on the deck, waiting for Brooke, who he had rented via the cheerleader auction. They enjoy a picnic and talk about how they thought the auction up.

Also capitalizing on what I'm sure is a cheer auction date is John and Jaina on the roof. Jaina's tardiness leads to a discussion on the technical terms of the auction and probably a lot more date-like couply stuff.

TOWN TOPICS

Miss York opened the York Gallery. Sam pondered robots at Stark Industry. And Reno hummed at the Freelance Police. Mister Sam and Mister Max checked in with him to see how they were doing as bosses, which leads to a fight with an RC car. I want to say I've dealt with stranger at Turtle & Canary, but, alas. I'm not sure I can.

Warren didn't appreciate the huggy placemats at Cafe Fina; Momoko was being sneaky and snagged a cheese grater to ask about...a cake! Which they brought out to Warren after she babbled him into submission.

The Hawaiian shirts over at Things Reborn were a big hit. Note to self: get more Hawaiian shirts for the store. Most likely, I'll get them from Jeff's closet, because of course he was there. And of course he called Chad to revel in their awful, awful, terrible fashion. He even found a shirt for his cat to spread it even further. I'm not surprised that Sokka was just thrilled, too. Even Detective Constable Day thought of getting some on her usual visit to Mister Reilly, but I really, really hope they're not for herself, because ew.

Sokka was also collecting scraps in the junkyard and Blysse caught up on chores at the Gig.

At Caritas, Mister Bindo made good on the no-zombies-on-the-bar rule and Mrs. Harker made good on the small talk about her weekend when she comes in for a Cosmo.

At the clinic, Ronan's pizza cravings led to a feast of pepperoni goodness! Which is better than a feast of sick people. A lot better.

Then, a playpen made a reappearance at Fight Club, though thankfully not for us. There was the usual mingling, where military experience lead Reno to ask Arthur for a spar. After settling baby Jan into the playpen, Mayor Cable talked to Tyler about the club improving morale, before challenging Mister Kurogane. Then Mister Deadpool told Sokka all about Mayor Cable kidnapping Jan...

....errr....

....Jan, who I assume was not at ALL kidnapped by a MAYOR, despite what Mister Deadpool says, tried to eat Mister Deadpool's fingers for saying that the MAYOR kidnaps BABIES. Rikku and Sokka were all about the baby babble to poor Jan.

Anyway, Sokka gave me a thumbs up, although, for what, I have no idea, and then Dinah failed to avoid Alice's eyes, which lead to talking about Leto, and excuse me while I just shake my head, because you guuuuuuys. SIGH. I should shake you two.

And thwap Leto with a rolled-up newspaper while I'm at it.

Either way, Dinah also talked with Blysse and Blind Seer about dogs and bowling, and I don't know if those are directly related, but let's hope not.

In the fighting arena, we had Adora and Priestly, Jamie and Gwynn, Dinah and Detective Constable Day, which is a lot of Ds, Reno and Rikku representing the Rs, Annja and Jen, Sokka and Jack, Mister Kurogane and Mayor Cable, and Reno and Arthur.

That's all the news for the evening! Thanks for listening! Good night and have a prosperous tomorrow!
