Fandom Radio :: February 15th.
Good evening, fellow Fandomites! I can't even express to you how glad I am to say that, yes, this actually is Turtle Wexler reporting again for WTFH radio, and, no, not some flighty other person that will speak of nothing more than her marriage. Because I don't even want to get married until I at least have a career. Just so we're clear on that.
Now let's get to the news!
School
It's Sunday, so that means Lee's got library duty. He's also got 'fix all the bindings on the books you broke last week' duty straight from Doctor Jones, Male, too! And he also got BFF listening duty in the afternoon when Toby came by to sob about his torrid history with Worf. Buffy was also doing research on Klingon demons.
...El-oh-el, related topics? MAYBE.
Dorms
Chuck woke up hung over and Sam checks on him, and reaches the conclusion that Chuck is apparently okay enough to have sex again. Why this is knowledge I needed to know is far, far beyond me. Adora was also hung over, which must have been fun since Dor was definitively cheerful. Although it does help that, since Dor is her roommate, the furniture can explain to Adora exactly what a hangover is.
Amber tested out the durability of her speakers by playing really loud music and bopping around her room a lot. Viki stopped by to watch. And probably talk a lot in circumlocution.
That's a very fancy word, that one. Circumlocution. It looks awesome in a report. Anyway, Triela also chatted with Amber about how she probably had an interesting weekend.
Angela toasted up some waffles in the fourth floor common room, so, of course, people showed up to eat them. Lois. Need. Coffee, and gets some before chatting with Angela. Romeo gets waffles and chats with Angela about the weekend, and Romeo and Hinata tried to be pleasant through some awkwardness. Hinata also notes Angela's good mood before chowing down some waffles. Harry and Angela brainstorm on ways to make Waffles Go Wild. Maple syrup! Cavorting with bagels! I would call that scandelous, but then that just makes me think of last week's broadcast.
Which, by the way, we are all forgetting about.
Tahiri was working on all that shiny glowy lightsword stuff in the salle, and Dinah comes to join her to ask about the laser-shooting robots and Valentine's Day.
I now wish those two things were more directly related. That would be awesome.
Then, in the gym later, the Face-Spitter tried to work on his muscles. All the muscles in the world won't negate the fact that he spits on people's faces. Tru fax.
I was hanging out in the fifth floor common room, making it just that much cooler by association. Ned joined me, again upping the coolness factor. There was also a cute alarm clock thing that heralded Katchoo's adding to the coolness.
And Liir was making chicken soup in the third floor common room. Penelope comes in and wonders how Liir's doing and if he's still recovering from the weekend.
...Why? Nothing exciting happened this weekend except the dance.
Ino petulantly wants to know why Liir can't seem to cook without making a racket, before they talk about the dance. Dinah also gets some food and chats with Liir about, of course, the dance, but also three-minute dates.
Aww, I tried that once. And then very soon afterwards realized I wanted to just be with Jeff.
*...long pause...*
Eeeew, I just got mushy on everyone. I am so so sorry; I promise it won't happen again.
Town
Mister Stark was in his lab, breaking things to fix them again, which is usually a sign that you have too much time on your hands, and Tyler showed up to...I'm just going to say keep him company, because anything else just feels really weird for me, sorry.
Miss York closed out her exhibit at the York Gallery, and confused Sheriff Cooper who thought she was acting a little funny.
Mister Mars was still working on repairs at the lighthouse.
Over at the Wellspring Arms and Meditation Center, Mister Loki and Mister Biff flirted. Like, a lot. Detective Constable Day flirted with Mister Biff, too, but not as much. They mostly talked about the weekend.
I'm sorry; it's really weird talking about older people flirting.
Warren was actually in a good mood over at Cafe Fina, thanks to a good old fashioned sugar high. I hope. Ino stopped in, was surprised at his good mood, and was, I quote, 'a talkative nuisance.' And then Momoko brought Warren some fortune cookies, which probably helped the sugar high a lot.
Blysse was also in a good mood at the Gig, although I think that had less to do with sugar and was more of a general good weekend with nothing going wrong sort of effect. Bad Alice comes by, hoping that Blysse and her wolf can help her with her cat, which leads into talking about conversing with animals.
Sam opened Stark Industries a little early and made a phone call on work time. Tsk.
Mister Reilly and Detective Constable Day admired his new window at Things Reborn before talking about time machines.
Mister Tino tried to pretend to be a droid over at Caritas, where Miss York questioned the quality of Mister Bindo's establishment before Mister Biff complimented the quality of her skirt. Mrs. Harker was a little confused about the Tino-in-a-box thing. Some things are best just ignored, Mrs. Harker. Not things, however, like Miss Walker. They didn't ignore each other and, in fact, introduced themselves. Miss Walker also complimented Mister Tino's new costume, while Mary was just a little confused by it. Mary told Mrs. Harker that she was feeling a little down about Valentine's Day, which doesn't make sense to me because, as a hotel owner, she should have had a business spike. And then Sheriff Cooper showed up to make sure Miss York was okay, because she was acting odd, apparently. She might not be, since they left soon after that.
And that's all, thank goodness! A nice quiet night after the craziness of last week! Good night, Fandom, and have a pleasant tomorrow!
