Fandom Radio, Saturday Morning
Loki: However did you squirrels manage to sneak along on this trip?
Petra: And what did I do to make them wake me up this morning?
Loki: Perhaps they wanted the news from our amazing Student Council?
Petra: I could buy it. As long as someone keeps bringing me these Turkish coffees, I don’t care.
Loki: I believe I shall second that. It's like I am chewing directly on the coffee bean.
Petra: We need these at home. I have decided.
Loki: It shall be my platform for the next Student Council election. There was terribly little happening back in town yesterday. Mike listened to the BeeGees at Caritas and Laurie informed him that they could have stowed away on this trip. At the Devil's Nest, Allie read about the Ottoman Empire.
*Music begins to play*
Loki: ...Eponine stopped by to check on the return of those on this trip.
Petra: Today in Turkey news, we went to Fethiye. Before we left our last port of call, Cade and Emily barely made it back to their boats, which in Cade's case was worth a round of applause. On the boats, people basked on the sun decks. On the Capricorn, Jaina was watching to make sure nobody brought any animals onboard when Emily made her mad dash, and--hey! It was Emily's birthday yesterday, guys! I'd say wish her a happy one, but it sounds like she might have some bad associations. So maybe just wish her cake. On the Leviathan, Ace had some lemonade that might not have been lemonade. Then we headed to shore, where there was shopping. I really should have brought another suitcase. Jack was surprised to run into Mitchell, and they talked about chaperoning and stuff. Anakin and Rory were at the hamam, while others went to the Lycian Museum, where Bay and Maddie talked about how creepy the skulls were and how not ready they were for spring break to be over. Another option was this gorge I can't pronounce and the Blue Lagoon--well that one's easy. Okay, I'm gonna give it a shot. Sak-i-li-kent? I think that's right. The Sakilikent Gorge. There, Emily and Victor talked about how he was having fun, and how it was her birthday, and Clint and Kate talked about their training, because some people can't even take a break on vacation.
Loki: I'm certain the Avengers would be proud of their diligence.
Petra: I don’t know who they are.
Loki: … *sigh* Mine brother and Captain America. And I suppose Tony Stark if he has not found the bar.
Petra: I still don’t get it, but, okay?
Loki: I will show you on my Tumblr once we finish. For the evening on our lovely voyage, we remained in Fethiye. Though some may have opted to stay in their gulets such as Cade who received a stuffed camel that Emily beleived to be cute. Mitchell woke up with Bo and then proceeded to gossip about Jack's addiction to soap operas. And Karolina got some sun. A most productive use of vacation time. One could also spend time on shore, like Natalie and Jace who discussed unfortunate liasons of an intimate nature. For those not inclined to go to a bar, there was the ampitheater where Kitty attempted to keep Cade from doing something in a drunken haze. She also spoke with Stiles on his trip so far and his evening with Natalie. Oh. Oh my. Also at the ampitheater, Emily made a phone call of some sort. Her poor mobile plan.
Petra: Maybe she got a burner phone for in-country.
Loki: ...that sounds horrible.
Petra: It just means you get a cheap phone on a local plan so you’re not roaming like WHOA. I’ve done it before, but I was like eleven and also I’m pretty sure the studio had my real phone bugged.
Loki: But my phone!
Petra: ...you don’t have to cuddle it like that, no one’s gonna take it away from you. I promise.
Loki: I'm not cuddling it. We are without more notes, dear peoples of Fandom and Turkey. This has been Loki...
Petra: And your student council president, Petra! Signing off!
