Fandom Radio: Friday 4/ 20
Faithful: "Evening Fandom!"
Aly: "Friday evening even. Which makes it the weekend before finals."
Faithful: "Mwahahahaha!"
Aly: *laughing* "Those are the laughs of person and cat who don't have to take them."
Faithful: "We mock you. Hear us mock."
Aly: "Mockity, mock, mock. Should we read the notes or is the mocking enough?"
Faithful: "Can we just mock? I like mocking."
Aly: "Could mock the notes."
School: Only Two More Days Until Finals
Faithful: "Fine, fine. Survival Tactics learn that you should set free what you love. And if it comes back, it loves you. Or something. It doesn't work for birds. Don't ask.
Nadia is emo and Gwynn comforts her. All birdies return home. Or something. A lot of people disagree with the Doctor, however, Jack is not one of them."
Aly: "US Government plays hangman. I'd mock the relevance of the lesson but my class played paintball this week. Villains and Villainy face the dread Lord Vizzle. Yep, I'm scared. They collect their arms - because two isn't enough anymore, fight masked minions, and hopefully destroy Lord Vizzle himself."
Faithful: "That's a very sad name. Fandom Idol! People are being worshipped? Oh. People sing. Among them Alec, Jo, Katara, Molly, Summer, Demyx, Greg, Sokka, Door, Miley, Cassie, Angela, Roy, Dean, Naomi, Carmela, and oh, that's it. People vote. And congratulate each other. Why do you never say who won?"
Aly: "Because that would hurt people's feelings. You don't want to do that. Okay, wow, the squirrel who took these notes was totally dirty. There are muddy pawprints all over the paper.
Faithful: "Which is why you should use cats to take notes. We're very clean animals."
Aly: "Better watch out going home, the squirrels might be out for blood. Logan Cale, Elliot, and Hades have office hours. People might have stopped by, but I think this paper has been soaked in mud. Anakin has a whole herd come to see him - Molly, Katara, Aeryn, Ares, Rose, and Rory. And the office is open and...covered in honey."
Faithful: "Sticky. Rory is taking Tums. Luke trails mud into it. That's not nice of him. Student Council gets covered in chocolate and then does something with a dump truck. You all are weird."
The Still-Emo Filled Dorms
Aly: "You may be a talking cat, but I think your reading comprehension needs work. Marie pretends she's E.T. Phoebe and Lana chat about Lana's Doctor issues out at Selkie Cove. Phoebe also is discussing her new extended relationship arrangements with Bel. And Aeryn emos with John about their kid. But not Kid."
Faithful: "John Connor and Sakurazaki have a bad morning. I can relate. Annette's up to no good in M's office. Phoebe and Anders talk about something I'm not thinking about. Ever. Parker agrees with me. Cally apologizes to Anders. Anders is way too popular today. John Co- I don't want to know."
Aly: "...me neither. Dawn's awfully popular too as River comes by to discuss their children, my cohost and his person say hi, Rikku brings cookies, Cute Sam asks about the letter Dawn's writing to her Buffy, and Dean drops off pictures of the kids. That's a good idea. Think Alanna wants pictures of her grandchildren?"
Faithful: "Oh yes." Pause. "You know, I think she actually does want pictures."
Aly: "Hmm, I'll make sure she gets some."
Faithful: "Good idea. Zuko's back. Yay Zuko. Lana takes a nap. That sounds like a very good idea, smart girl. Zuko and Mel don't kill each other. This is an assumption, seeing as how there's no note about them killing each other. Jack is sweet and brings Cedric sweets. I kill myself."
Aly: "Yes. You're hilarious. Peter Parker stops by Isabel's to get his birthday present and also wtfs about the fact that his daughter stuck his son to the ceiling." *LAUGHTER* "Aeryn gets a present and talks kids with Isabel, and Parker makes four on the kid talk."
Faithful: "John and Aeryn play with their robot dog. There's a joke in there somewhere, but I can't find it. I must be getting old. Chad falls asleep in the ice cream. Nadia makes brownies. Chocolate? Cally ... la la la la la flowers shiny happy people la di da."
It's the Town. When Lemurs May Roam Free
Aly: "Yes. They discuss daffodils. Good call. Al opens Book Haven and his reading is interrupted by a Setsuna who fails at ninja stealthiness. The Post Office is open, but Sokka and his chinchilla - not dirty - visit Cafe Fina because of its friendliness to furries. Furry animals. Right."
Faithful: "That sounds more than a little dirty. Rosette needs coffee. Oh I know that feeling. She tells John Connor about her visitor and then the two meet. I'm not even sure who the two are. Aiden does background checks. Always a good idea. Billy tells her about his/her/their kids."
Aly: "Wait, can cats drink coffee?"
Faithful: "They shouldn't. And that's all I'm saying about that."
Aly: "We agree on that much. Jarod and Parker meet in the Park to discuss their future, and everything is half off at the Photo Hut because it's 4/20. Well, that explains the shininess in the Common Room. Christian and Dr. Lambert spend their shifts surfing for porn on the internets. Cafe Fina can help you with that."
Faithful: "GOB is drinking and the Zombies are singing. Must be a day ending in y. Phoebe gets a private escort home due to being a touch drunk. Phoebe and Lana show up to get drunk. I think events are out of order here. Jim takes Lana home. Phoebe likes not thinking. There are days when I can relate."
Aly: "The question is if there are days when you can't relate. The Devil's Nest is hopping even is Sakurazaki isn't. She does, however, share drinks with Kabuto who proceeds to be the first in the long line of men flirting with Lucifer tonight. Wilson shows up to dance, but he's eventually sent home like a good boy. ...and on that note, I think that's all we have."
Faithful: "Wow, you guys are all quiet today. Should we be expecting an invasion now?"
Aly: "Didn't we just have one? Very small people yelling for Mommy and Daddy ring a bell?"
Faithful: "You had. I just had really good, and often very cute, entertainment. Plus, there's something very amusing watching you all run around flailing."
Aly: "I didn't flail. Much."
Faithful: "You can't see me smirking, but you just know it's there."
Aly: "I think we're done now."
Faithful: "Yup. Good night!"
Aly: "Night, everyone."
Aly: "Friday evening even. Which makes it the weekend before finals."
